hawkins only chance to make it is if he gets angry. he needs to bully players around, push, pull and muscle. if he wants to last he needs to use his bulk, find some aggression and dominate using his strengths. he isn't built like reiwoldt so nobody should expect him to play like that.

Give Brad Miller the Angry Pills instead of Hawkins. At least we know Brad gives it his all. Hawkins is a DUD of the highest order at this stage. I doubt i will be proved wrong.

Would anyone be intrested in trading for him with our second round pick? get 2 mids with first two picks and a forward and our depth is looking good. In saying this the jury is out on whether the tomahawk is bona fide footballer.

Limited footballer who can't really play anywhere other than the goal square. If he's off his game he's a liability to the team.

If you're going to bag a former player simply because they weren't up to it at least spell their name right.

This year draftpicks will be worth more than usual because of the Gold Coast concessions so we should have a good chance to get an up and coming player at another club that we know will make it especially with our second round pick. A good finishing midfielder with pace would be desirable.

In terms of recruiting a forward I don't think Hawkins is the answer. I don't see much real scope for improvement and the modern game doesn't really suit him. Forwards need to be quick and agile in today's game as well as good on the ground. That's why I think we should look at someone like Mitch Morton who is potentially a 50 goal a year forward in a good side. As we improve I think he could be a useful 3rd forward. In this year's draft there seems to be a shortage of good forwards too.

Bailey has basically ruled out going after Hall but he is still playing good football so you'd think he could get picked up somewhere.
