Changes for next week vs the Power

That comment is below you H.

And petjud - Can you type properly? It is so bloody hard to read. It's like how BB59 used to write.

And petjud - You can rant with the best of them...

You make a couple of good points though, there has been a lot of misdirected blame around Demonland of late...

I do apologise for my typing, but I usually have to type very quickly when the nice piece of software on my work machine tells me to have a micro break.

Agree I rant, but I only rant against the negativity and misinformed opinions, we have 22 players each week going out and trying to do their best (possibly with one or two exceptions), it is going to be a slow process....but after the game yes we are disappointed but rather than blame and shame, pick the positives...........it's only a game afterall.......I have spoken to Mr Bartam and he realises that even though he shut down a normal 30+ possie player......he forgot to comb his hair for the post match interview.he's off west to behch warm for the Kalgoorlie Krushers.....

........Thank you for the sex change so late in life....

That reminds me of the story of the guy who has a one night stand. After a night of mad, passionate love making, he rolls over in the girl's bed and notices a framed picture of a guy on her bed side table.

Curious, he asks if it is her husband?

She answers, "no, I don't have a husband".

He says, "well, is it your boyfriend then?" And she replies, "Your so cute when your jealous (and she snuggles into him), but no, its not my boyfriend."

He then asks, "So, is it your brother?" She says, "no, I don't have a brother either".

To which he says, "I don't get it, what woman would have a framed picture of a bloke, next to her bed, if she was not close to the guy, or at least related to him?" And she says............................................................................

"Don't worry, the picture is only of me, before I had the operation."

story "of a guy" huh............. <_<

Now only a female could have posted such tripe.

Coming from the one who detests "condescending crap"...

However H's observation is a good one: the game is passing pure taggers by and given Bartram's below par skill set there's not much else he can offer. Anyone not seeing that is watching the game through the opaqueness of loyalty.

That comment is below you H.

Jeez mate, you don't know me too well.

That said, I already regret banging away on the computer (as I am now) on a player the calibre of Bartram.

This has to be a joke. kept havey to no influence, usually he has a 30+ touch game.

I think you'll find I said I didn't think that he looked to going too well but he was tagging. No taggers get much off the ball.

Wasn't much negativity - think you are all getting excited about nothing.

macdonald staying home..Meesen is in for Spencer and Dunn is in too.

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

  • POSTGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
