Volvo sponsorship

been out of Melbourne town for a little while but noticed yesteday when on MFC home page there is an area 2/3 of the way down listing our sponsors, Reebok and the Age were the only two listed. today on the same sight Volvo is now listed. is this new ? and what are they worth approx to the club? someones gone in of their day off to update the site.

they're not new, and their definately not our major sponsor, however, im not sure how much they actually do sponsor us.

Maybe a decade ago. Volvo are doing well to revitalise their brand. There are FAR worse manufacturers these days.

I doubt it mate - people have to realise that not everyone comes onto this site. But do agree with you, whether anyone sees it or not!

I proudly wear my red volvo cap with the MFC badge on the side. My carltank supporting brother made a smartarse crack about it recently, I shut him up with a one word reply HYUNDAI

As far as I'm aware, Volvo was a platinum partner last season also.

I have although noticed that a new telecommunications group called Red Mercury has joined the list of 'Gold' partners. I'm presuming this is new. Has anyone seen this before?

THere was a thread almost identical to this one a few months back concerning Volvo's sponsorship.

In the end it turned out to be no change at all. I think this is the same.
