bingo, he posts under another name... nudge nudge wink wink, if you know what I mean.

This is like a spy novel.

I had originally thought ChilliBoy had become Calabrese Boy but from reading him over the past 12 months they're very different posters. My thoughts on Nudge are exactly the same as Sleeve - that its actually Chilliboy in disguise. I also recall Chilliboy stating that the username was shared amongst a few of them at a media outlet so its never likely to be the same person posting.

Regardless, the level of abuse hurled around this time of year just gets better and better!!!

I think we need to call a summit on user-identity.

I'm fat.

How do you know it has factual basis?

So either Addam doesn't know Peter Szental and made it all up, or Peter Szental made it all up and was just trying to impress Addam. Hmmm, both scenarios seem highly unlikely if you ask me.

If someone is prepared to name a source who's in a position of know, I tend to believe them.

I spoke with Paul Williams on a train this morning, and he's adament Brad Green will re-sign.

Pretty easy isn't it.

Wouldn't you wonder as to how much a board member would know about the trades anyway?

Keep the info/rumours coming, Nudge. Great stuff. Some of your finest work since 'Hey Dad'.

As for some of the murmurings in this thread, any talk of Farren Ray alarms me. We're trying to rid ourselves of hacks and get into the market for picks, not do the opposite. If Mitch Thorp's unavailable, then I'd be wanting Hawthorn's 16. Boyle's body is a timebomb.

You guys are so sad..

That kid used 2 post hundreds of stupid deals every day, it was a joke.

I posted this trade info saturday, before it was in the media, I really do feel sorry for you guys, I mean what type of people get bitter about felow demon fans posting harmless information on an internet forum? You guys really must have some deed seeded issues, its actually truly sad.

If you dont want the info, don't read guys, really, its no big deal.

I would rather trade away players to get more draft picks.

If it means trading Brad Green, Colin Sylvia, Jared Rivers, Aaron Davey, Cameron Bruce etc then so be it.

We need to realise that we won't be having a premiership assault with a decent team for at least 5 years.

The most important thing we should do is get as many draft picks in the top 30 as we can...just like Hawthorn did back in 2004.

Short term pain for long term gain people.

As Jimmy Stynes said himself...it's a Premiership or bust!

nudge has avoided the question of his source twice now. thus, i dont believe it. it might come true, but it will be luck more than anything else

i doubt nudges source would like to be named and shamed all over this website, have a think about it. I am sure there is some confidentiality that needs to be maintained with this information.

Peace!

It's a fraid ol' flag

It's a tattered ol' brand

twas the emblem for me once too

in the year '39

we were in our prime

& traded on loyalty 'n' fine wine

till the day came, that o' clubs played

the cash in hand game

in '87 we were right

we gave 'em a fright

from then too oft'

we were again too soft

alas we've let it slip

so here now, we got to right this ship

so now friends

it's time to pay the course

pick the kids

& yell till we're hoarse

for one day soon, the sun & the moon

will shine on our parade

Go Dees

FWIW and for whoever you are and whatever your sources, I enjoy it.

I love the speculation and you've summarised what you know very neatly.

Looking forward to the next update. Keep up the good work.

Who cares!!! Its an interesting read. If you don't like it get over it and move on. Why turn the whole thread into an argument?

If I had a source I wouldn't name them.

Yes, I wouldn't either. Gutsy move Addam.

Interesting to read nevertheless. I agree with pantaloons in respect to Pick 35 for Farren Ray.

If Connolly is now raising the possibility for pick 17 or 19 for Warnock, I wonder if its just a ploy to try and obtain Warnock through the PSD. We've got to keep our early picks IMO.

Hopefully the list management meeting went well last night for the Mfc footy department. As well as Barry's presentation of the draft prospects.

Thanks for the info Nudge.

Perhaps CJ wants a move?

Because I can't see why we would want to move him on..

If Carlton and Freo can't come to a trade, then Warnock will go in the National Draft where Carlton will pick him up for free at pick 24, unless the Dees sacrifice pick 17 or 19 for him.

Ok, well the Blues may have to do better than pick 24.

I hate Visy.

edit: I'm sure Warnock would slide through to the PSD not ND.

The answer to that is very little.

Incorrect. He would go into the PSD.

With Joel Macdonald & David Armitage the only players not mentioned above that Demon staff showed some interest in to their respective clubs.

Aargh..

I hate all this talk about Armitage. Why on earth would we consider him? He's just an average, run of the mill crap player. This would have to be a worse decision than looking at Seaby.
