Will he be given a final game against his old club in our last game of the season?

can you bet on this ?? lol :) Id wager he will.. It will all be pure co incidence. His inclusion would be to strengthen the team etc..:)

Newton "illness," we'll need a stand-in tall forward.

Mind you, round 22 no one will care if we just come out and say it's a farewell game, especially if Richmond can't make the finals

Neither Bizzell nor Pickett played 100 for us

Bizz deserved it Byron didn`t.

Don`t get me wrong i don`t mind Dutchy, i just don`t like seeing games handed out for nothing. It`s a blight on the club.

So are you talking whether he "should" get one?

I'd say it all depends on how good the Juice tastes tomorrow.

:D I like it...

As for Dutchy... I hope they give him a swansong... and assuming we don't win this weekend, how good would it be to see he and our other older guys say goodbye on a good note?

I've always liked Dutchy, he's an honest tryer and gives 100% every time. I'd like to give him a farewell game, but i don't think Bails will do it.

Hope not, Holland is a chump.

hope so, and Yze and White should play as well

Hope not, Holland is a chump.

Injury has slowed this guy down, he was an elite player just a shame we took the gamble and paid the big bucks to find out, and his last game against the hawks was more than average kept us in it for a long way i did enjoy dutchy smiling to the crowd that day 3 goals not bad for a chump i would say

Yze's revelations that he was picked last week purely to get to 300 games, and that he only played with the aid of an injection as he was unfit throws Baileys assertions about

no token games out the window. He's also consistently said the side would be picked on form, and he if was true to that word also White and Yze would have played many more

games given their Sandy form at various times, being constantly named in the best 3. I think Holland will be given a game...

Actually, it sounded like it was JIMMY that said to him that he needs just 2 more games to reach 300/ life membership.

Lets hope Jim isn't getting involved in football matters though, and that Bailey picked him based on his ongoing form at Sandy (which has been solid).

I think he will play. Newton would be the one to make way IMO.

Given comments apparently made by Bailey re: not wanting to give guys like Bate, Dunn, and Newton 'token' games if they don't deserve a gig, I wouldn't be surprised.

Many struggled against Port Adelaide and those three that you mention Rogue, really disappointing. Newton did try, but he lacks in areas many have.

I love Dutchy, what a star.

Give him one more game, he deserves it!

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
