IMO the ability is still there, but the desire is gone.

Maybe I'm wrong, but when a player doesn't go in for the tackle, doesn't run those extra few steps and doesn't chase, but basically stands still when the ball is not in close vicinity, they just don't care anymore.

That doesn't mean they don't care about the club, it simply means they are tired of playing the game at the highest level and that the motivation to keep going is no longer there. Knowing you have 3 games left (if that) is certainly not helping the situation.

As I said, I admire White for everything he has done for the club (through some horrific injuries) and it saddens me to see him leave the game on such a poor note.

BINGO..It really takes the edge and urgency off. Probably not even intended..it just happens. You know the end is nigh...and it just kills the moment.

fair call. those that have seen more of sandy than i would know better, but i'm not sure he did anything to justify a return. then he again he might still have been our only option to replace jamar.
