... and don't believe everything you read. Sir Thomas Playford who was SA's longest running premier died in 1981.

Honourable four-goal loss. Will watch with interest.

Live on Demonology! (Though I'll be watching it down the pub with my mates!)

FInallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Pumped to see Oliver

I'm trying to smash out work so I can knock off early and get to the pub for a few Coopers Pale.

We will have our best available team on the park but that would be a fair way off our best 22 or 26.

The real missing ingredient today will be experence - Lynden Dunn is the old man of the team.

Can't wait to get down to Elizabeth oval, to see all the new recruits live in action!

Big decisions of the day:

Pie or hot dog?

Will it be too hot for the scarf?

To sledge or not to sledge the Toump?

Footy is back!!!

WJ - you have guys who have been to hell and back footy wise, Jetta, Garland, Grimes are just 3 who have the experience, now surrounded by hungry young teammates

Anyon know if any coverage of the game on the radio or if on afl app?

If you don't sledge Toump you should be banned from Demonland for a week.

True Saty but all three are relatively spring chickens. Col is 27 and the other two are 26. The elder statesmen of the team with the exception of Dunny are out of the team today - Jones, Vince and Lumumba.

Our midfield is light.

Our defence is basically full strength (depending how you rate lumumba) so it will be interesting to see how they hold up.

Jetta dunn garland

Salem T.Mac ???

Our forward line is only missing dawes and petracca from our round 1 team (again based on opinion)

Kent Pedersen watts

Garlett hogan ???

Our midfield is light.

No jones or vince is massive. Their game sense and ability to lift at pivitol moments is not to be underrated and will be sorely missed.

Our midfield will remain light even with those two players returning for the season proper if we do not see the next group step up.

Hoping to see the continued emergence of brayshaw. 99 tackles from 21 games shows intent, shows discipline and it shows the much vaunted term "competitiveness".

If oliver can have the same type of a debut year then who knows what sort of season we could have.

Vandenberg, viney, kent, harmes. These are the names of players who can damage opponents with their hunt for the ball, with their desire to win win with their...competitiveness

Pretty close to full strength and a side we could have to field if the injury gods are cruel

Might only be pre season but today should tell us alot about how this season will play out

Age is relative WJ, Viney will be leading today, closely followed by Tommy Mc

Just now, Bombay Airconditioning said:

Sledging is part of sport.

Sledging on the field when you are part of the battle is, being a hero on the sidelines isn't

Nothing to do with being a hero.
