We're starting so fair back, if we get out of the bottom 4 next year I would be seriously surprised. I think the biggest thing Roos will bring is confidence, not only to the playing group but to the member and supporters. We'll finally have someone in the top job that he knows what to do. The players will be on notice. If they don't run under Roos there as good as gone. First season will be frustrating like MM at Carlton, Roos will want to give the players a chance and then make changes after the season. -
I'm still excited!..... I hope he gives the boys 3 weeks off the. Pulls them together for basic training (kicking & hand balling) it will be like remember the titans if you miss a target you run a mile! We'll have the fittest team come next year, cos most can't hit the side of a bloody barn!!!!!

He may have great endeavour, he may try his guts out each week, my biggest issue with Dunn is that he makes a mistake at the worst possible time, week in week out. All players make mistakes and i except that, but Dunn turns the ball over that always shifts the momentum to another team. I find him the must frustrating player we currently have on the list.

Not a chance that the MFC is a better prospect then Brisbane, the playing group alone would get you over the line. The only thing going for the MFC at the moment is the greatest challenge in football and that the AFL is involved. We're the epitome of incompetence at the moment.

Cut our losses and get rid of him, We have been waiting for years for him to change gears and he has continually disappointed us. With Hogan, Dawes and Clark up forward, thats 3 big tough blokes, Watts just isn't mentally tough enough. There comes a point when you can't keep blaming the club for your development and start looking at yourself. We need mongrel going forward and Watts just doesn't have it in him. Thanks for the 5-10 max good games out of 70 Jack.

Spot on mate.... Frosty Demon - imagine being in the back line for the MFC, every centre bounce you know its coming straight back down. Frawley and Garland should be the last people that get a bake, how about the blokes that continue to make blatant mistakes that result in goals!!!!!!.

If he's not banging down the door like Fitzy did for a few months, then he doesn't deserve a game in the firsts. It's that simple, both Magner & Crouch carve it up in the seconds but go missing at AFL level. The gap is huge, demand to be played through performances in the Twos

You know when you're a shite team when we are judging a first year player in 7ish games?. As OD he wouldn't be in a top side but yet again we expect kids to come in and dominate. Wines has a mid field around him, we have N.Jones. Come on fellas, it's not fair on Toumpas and it's stupid to think a 18-19 year old is going to play consistent football. Our leadership group can't even do that let alone a rookie.

I totally agree with you Jaded, he is a shadow of the young fellow we drafted. He done nothing but turn the ball over tonight. Dunn would have to be the worst player to ever wear the jumper!!

Yes but thats partly the MFC fault as well..... i still believe the following players need to go before Luke Tapscott; Dunn, Nicholson, Mckenzie, Strauss, Tynan, Gilles, Sellar, Macdonald, Pederson, Jetta (highlighted are those that need to be shown the door immediately) You can't teach mongrel and you cant teach desire, 2 attributes that we really need at the moment. -

I honestly believe if Viney was up and running that this thread would have died by now. We couldn't draft all in and under midfielders when you have Jones, Mckenzie and Viney locked away. I really dislike that everyone has jumped on Toumpas expecting him to be as soft as butter in his first year then Watts. Congrats to Ollie for proving the doubters wrong, GWS, Melbourne, Bulldogs passed on him so he has surprised a few, have GWS's no 2&3 picks even played this year?!?. If we have implemented the proper structures to developed our youth this pick wont be a mistake. You can't paint everyone with the same brush. Give him time, I personally think he's tracking really strongly. Prove the doubters wrong Toooouuuuummmmpppp!

I personally think that our football team is the easier fix the Brisbane, I watch a lot of the lions games and if we had our full strength team up and firing you would prefer to coach ours next season as long as you can bring in some midfielders to help out. The forward line in 2014 could be regarded as one of the best going round and the back line is very sound. Land Roo's and we have a fantastic chance of landing a big fish. The trade period could be very exciting for us next year. Lets hope that we don't trade anyone that none of us have heard of (Pederson & Gilles) grrrrr
