  1. Absolutely. What 11-1 has shown me is our team makes it extremely difficult for the opposition to sustain a four quarter effort. We’ve seen teams go hard early against us for the killer punch, Richmond lasted 15 minutes before we shut them down. Lions simply couldn’t keep up in the second half. Teams have had little patches here and there but our ability to restructure quickly is impressive, opponents seem to run out of ideas and eventually we overwhelm them. The Sydney win was outstanding as that was the most brutal and physical game I’ve seen this year IMO. Kudos to the Crows for finding a way to stick with us, although we contributed in the last 7 minutes by a couple of structural breakdowns that aided them and everything went right for them. Even with 40 seconds to go against them we still managed a couple of chances to win the game. Enjoying seeing them play for each other.
  2. Clubhouse leader on the Carlton boards. ā€ We look faTeaguedā€
  3. Liam Ryan has made this match watchable.
  4. Days like today is when you miss the early Sunday game. The price on West Coast today is tempting even with half a side.
  5. Let’s hope so. It’s incredibly hard to win a GF, all those teams listed gave themselves a massive chance for a preliminary final with the exception of the Cats in 2018 you could argue. Still a lot to play out, was more highlighting how hard we’ve worked as a group to give ourselves every possible chance.
  6. From so easy to score against to one of the best records since 2000.
  7. That was utterly embarrassing by Derm. You could sense Huddo and King wanted to crawl under the table.
  8. I noticed on the replay Trac pointing Spargo out and acknowledging he was responsible for two goals in the 3rd. The one Trac kicked himself and the T Mac roving and running one from about 40 out. Both times Spargo competed in the air and brought it to ground. Charles is having a ripper season.
  9. How good is this?? 11-1 with a 1 point average losing margin and we can now drive up to 10kms away from home with a scarf out of every window.
  10. On Hunt Dee f, it’s hard to see certain players roles on the TV, possessions wise he didn’t light up the stat sheet against the Dogs but every time he was visible on screen especially when the Dogs went forward he busted his chops running back to man up their wingers dropping into our attacking 50. At different times he was taking Lipinski, B Smith, Hunter and even took Weightman and fair to say all 4 hardly impacted the game that night. Would love to hear from the supporters that attended the game last night on how they saw Hunt. We all like seeing him run and attack but that won’t always happen due to the game being played a certain way, his main objective is to defend and from the games I’ve seen live this year I think he’s been very good at that aspect.
  11. Teams try to get the KO in the first few rounds against us, but we are willing to go 15 rounds and win on points. I’d love to give a team 6 quarters to try and knock us off. The air just smells different.
  12. What a statement! What a team! Next challenger please . Bloody brilliant.
  13. I’d take Viney with one foot right now to put some Lions on their backside.
  14. Decent morning read with your tea or coffee. Haven’t watched Brisbane a lot this season, interesting to read how high Rich actually wins the ball. https://www.theroar.com.au/2021/06/04/analysing-friday-night-footy-melbourne-vs-brisbane/
  15. They are much loved WCW, lots of talk about the Baby Bombers 2.0 or 3.0 whatever they were labeled after their win in the west. They had 3 players under 22 against the Eagles. In fact, us and the Dogs fielded much younger teams than them last weekend. Let the spin continue.
  16. Just try it...... ā€œI want to see Daniher put a knee into the back of Gawn when Gawn decides to drop back in the hole in our forward 50. We can't let him drift back and take marks untouched, we at least need to make him earn it and expect there to be heavy contact coming.ā€
  17. And they want to blame Victoria for the latest outbreak after comments like that by the SA CHO. If QB was to move I’d prefer Adelaide Oval.
  18. This will be the best ever mystery flight if we win.
  19. Seems to always pop up in the background on the telly after we kick a goal with a big smile on his face. He’s enjoying his footy like all of them.
  20. We’d have all the support from Port fans, that’s for sure.
  21. Cool cool cool? AFL scheduled us as the home team this season because we missed out on QB last year and Anzac Eve. Simply pointing out you’re incorrect about the Pies missing out on the gate in 2020. Just like you pointing out that people are making themselves look silly on here when posting about COVID.
  22. I’m certain we lost out on QB as the home team last year, Pies were the home team in 2019.
