Haven’t seen Daw this half so far and he’s not on the bench, possibly rested along with Gus as I didn’t notice he was sore or anything like that. Score 85-21 and rain settling in.
-
Laurie started half forward and to be honest he hasn’t been involved a lot. Declase I haven’t noticed much either, I think he’s playing on the wing.
-
Gus a lot more involved this quarter, accumulating some possessions and delivering forward. Hasn’t moved from the centre corridor. Petty going well, has taken a few intercept marks and read the play well. He’s on Schache and has only got away from Petty once this quarter.
-
Daw with his first goal courtesy of a free kick. Unfortunately all Dogs, 61-20
-
Quarter time and it’s 49-13 Dogs. We had a really good patch in the middle of the quarter where the movement was quick and the forward line looked lively. Unfortunately after Kozzie hit the post which would have brought us within a kick the Dogs slammed 4 quick ones to end the term. Kozzie our best, Farmer very lively up forward and Majak took a couple of strong marks in the end which will do his confidence no harm. Gus looks like he’s doing a lot of strong inside mid work. I was at the forward end but did notice Petty take a nice intercept mark.
-
Majak is getting hands to the ball but struggling to mark, Rosman roved well off the pack and snaps our first, followed quickly by a smart Farmer goal. 23-12
-
He was in everything the first 5 mins or so and running both ways. Was rested after 6 mins and just came back on and has continued working hard. So far he looks fit to me bda.
-
Our defence is working overtime at the moment. We haven’t been poor, Dogs’ pressure is off the charts allowing us no space at all . 22-0 after 15.
-
No problem, Dogs off to a flyer 13-0 after 5. Kozzie our most lively so far
-
Gus and Pickett starting in middle, Majak and Rosman forward.
-
Your guess is most likely correct. We’ll see if they get pulled early, no sign of M Brown.
-
Let’s get started. I can see, Gus, Kozzie, Petty, Laurie, Majak, Kobe (the Wiz in attendance), Bradtke, Declase, Rosman warming up. Haven’t noticed M. Brown yet although he and Petty look similar from a distance.
-
Some of the boys are coming out to warm up for the early game, Petty and Laurie amongst them.

TEAM SELECTION: Practice Match vs Bulldogs
Dee Zephyr replied to Deemania since 56's topic in Melbourne Demons
Anyone heading to Whitten oval for the early game? Might just make the trip to see Gus and a few others run around. -
Good win with some nice highlights last night and glad we infected the Pies last week with inaccuracy.....2.8 sheesh. How much would it take the Dogs to lose by for us to overtake them into the top 6?
-
I’m glad there’s information in the email regarding reserved seat members. Can’t guarantee we get the same seat but have the option to choose seats nearby. A maximum group booking of 6 might be a bit of a hurdle for families or friends that like to go together.

Very happy to read about Gus. I still believe he can be real important for us going forward.

Revised AAMI Community Series vs Bulldogs
Dee Zephyr replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Luke Beveridge was on SEN this morning and I’m almost certain i heard him say the Dogs v Casey game is on Monday morning at the Whitten Oval. Wonder if that game is open to the public. -
Fair enough, the AFL throwing a googly these days won’t come as a surprise though. I heard on radio this morning the MCC is open to the move pending AFL approval. Waiting game now I guess.
-
Just to clarify BBP, are these outcomes your thoughts or was it mentioned elsewhere that’s how it will play out if approved? 7 sport ran with 2 games at the ‘G’ on Saturday as another possibility.
-
Someone just take responsibility and have a shot...enough with this trying to dish it off.
-
Oh boy...
-
Just need to walk away with as little damage as possible heading into the second because this is really ugly atm.
-
One topic you don’t want to see as ‘Hot’. Bloody hell, a third time before Aaron even got a chance to play one game. Cruel, cruel, cruel.

Huge game. A Melbourne v Coll game where the Pies are playing for top spot and we’re trying to get back into the top 6. A beautiful day for footy.
