  1. Lol, Essendon have snuck into 8th.
  2. Sounds like my family’s idea of hanging the scarf out of the car window and doing 5km loops around my house all day was much better than the football action today.
  3. Purely a guess mono. Last time I saw him involved in a play was around 13mins to go in the last. Attacked a contest near our defensive goal square and looked like a Bulldog arm might have struck him accidentally. He stayed down for a few seconds. Didn’t see him for the rest of the game and they panned to our bench a couple of times and we only had 3 on there until Langdon reappeared with a couple of mins to go.
  4. There’s definitely a different vibe to this team Clint. The over-celebrating after goals has been missing all year after goals and even after games. It’s all about focusing on the next play with the boys it seems as they now realise how hard it is to be successful and boy are they working their backsides off. We cover the G so well defensively and I put it down to fantastic coaching last night on a skinnier Marvel. We absolutely bamboozled the Dogs defensively, forcing them to attempt pin-point passes across the ground resulting in costly turnovers.
  5. My ‘little’ highlight of the night was Jackson reading and roving his opponent’s hit-out in the centre during the third quarter. Wasn’t his best game but that effort was almost taking the pizz.
  6. Fantastic team effort. Tomlinson was a big loss and good to see the trust in Petty by the backs and some nice synergy building. Our usual suspects were at it again but massive games by Gus, Harmes, ANB and Rivers. Really liked their games.
  7. Reported on 7 the player in question has returned a negative. It’s Tom Browne’s understanding from AFL sources.
  8. Honestly , how can you trust the people in charge when they name an incorrect exposure site and inform you of their bungle 3 weeks later?
  9. I could be wrong dd but I always thought it was 3 days prior. Last weeks main session was on the Wednesday.
  10. Wondering if our main training session is today as we usually have it 3 days before a match with a light run the day before the game. Anyone know if training is on today?
  11. The umpire thought there was a Crows teammate in the vicinity of the handball. How do you explain Lever’s deliberate then? The inconsistencies drive fans mad. Not sure if I feel better or worse to be honest after the admission.
  12. Mate just text me saying AFL admitted it was the wrong call. Was reported on Channel 10 news according to mate.
  13. I think we’ll acquit ourselves well even if Salem doesn’t come back in. Viney sounds extremely doubtful, might not win but the boys have worked extremely hard this year to put themselves in this position. Should be hot early.
  14. https://www.afl.com.au/news/620392 4th best ever individual game since 2010 under the Player Ratings model. Watching him on the TV was amazing. The supporters that attended the game must have been picking up their jaws with that display.
  15. I thought why not just boot it off the ground as far as possible and he was stuck manning the mark too which didn’t help. Just a few little things let us down, weren’t playing good but we led that game for 85 minutes out of 115. On the thump and towards the goal, I wanted him to go towards any score. Just wondering how hard is it to do from a stand and jump as opposed to a run-up late in a game.
  16. You probably won’t see a more deliberate handball out of play this season than last night. I understand the frustration but it won’t make most of us feel any better if they admit it was the wrong call. The Spargo one was an absolute howler, trying to pick up the ball of his bootlaces and toe pokes it out accidentally. The Crows one is better compared to Lever getting pinged for deliberate earlier in the game when he actually made it look like he was passing to Petty. Time for Ump pressers after games perhaps, that would be fun.
  17. Unfortunately we gave them a look in from 16 points up late and they got their tails up. Shouldn’t be losing from that position, we fumbled a lot and they didn’t when it mattered. Regroup and let’s see how we bounce back from a disappointing loss.
  18. Third quarter was awful Gonz. That Hawthorn forward playing on in the goal square and getting pinged swung the momentum big time.
  19. Frostball is in full flight at the G today.
  20. Looking forward to seeing Weid get a whole game at FF this week. Grab it Sam.
  21. No CAPS W’DEE? We must be going alright.
  22. The Swans had 35 tackles inside their forward 50 last week, Carlton followed with 21 yesterday. Huge numbers if we’re talking forward pressure, would be interested to see the actual scores generated against us from those numbers considering we have kept those two teams around our average against for the season. Seems teams are trying various methods to break us down and we’re responding every single week. The back 6 are awesome to watch at the moment with the help of the wingers of course.
  23. Good teams just find a way to win. 26 points up with a couple of minutes to go and our boys are still chasing opponents down. Keep accumulating those 4 points.
  24. Eddie’s calling last night was horrendous, probably the worst I’ve heard and he must be the only person in Australia that thinks Toby Greene is a left footer.
  25. Not sure if this helps Andy, when I log in it just shows my membership only, after I click on my name the rest of the memberships linked to my account show up. If your friend clicks the name and they don’t appear that might be another problem all together.
