CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Essendon
A couple of reporters tried to get Goody to answer on Weid and B Brown this week during this morning’s media conference. Did not give much away, not that we should expect much much from pressers, but Goody did mention Brown is still building his game and looking better and better all the time. Is that enough to be included for Saturday night on the back of a 5-6 week mini preseason and no competitive matches for over a month? Weid might be omitted, not sure if it’s for Brown.

PODCAST: Mid-Season Review LIVE Wednesday 23/6 @ 8:30pm
Favourite win - Can’t split Anzac Eve and the Sydney victory. Anzac Eve, special occasion, big crowd and Jonesy’s 300th. Tigers brought the heat early and we took over quickly. The Sydney game, probably the most brutal and physical match I’ve seen us play in this year. High pressure and they challenged us all night, both sets of supporters were loud and it was a terrific atmosphere. In game highlight - T Mac’s left foot goal against the Swans after bursting out of a pack. Random highlight - Salem’s overall game against the Saints. He was simply brilliant that night.

Hawthorn lost Birchall and got back a Birchall. Scrimshaw is a very good player.

Practice Match
Guessing it’s a morning match since the VFLW game commences at 2pm out at Casey. No spectators permitted for the VFLW clash, don’t like our chances of getting down there for a look.

Best wishes to Christian Eriksen, was shocked to read Eriksen collapsed during play overnight. Awake and stable from all reports.

NON MFC: Rd 13 2021
Crows ran the game out, Saints could barely walk. Absolutely smashed the Saints in the last. 36-0 up and then 54-18…no excuses.

5 minutes into half-time and the Auskickers have already outscored both teams. It felt like we went back to 16 minute quarters.

TEAMS: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
The O Mac mini pre-season of 2019. Makes a lot of sense, it’s not as though we are struggling to score or desperate to fill spots at the moment.

My Demon Speedsters
I think the endurance base is probably the most on show about our runners. The ability to run at high speed more than the oppo. I was amazed at this stat against the Lions. We covered almost 6km more than them at high speed.

Farewell Sam Weideman
After the Carlton game someone posted the number of times our forwards were used as inside 50 targets, from memory we went to Brown 17 times against Carlton. Was wondering since then how many times we’ve gone to Weid as an inside 50 target and came across this. I’m nowhere near tactically advanced as some on here but is it a case of sharing the load inside 50 and specific roles. These numbers especially the last 3 weeks indicate Weid isn’t being used as our number one key forward.

Where Will We Play Collingwood? (QB Big Freeze)
Firming as the red hot favourite. Is it 11 new cases today?
