Loving our coaches thinking ahead. Hunt has been going to Smith when Smith rolls forward and has kept him quiet. Hunt has been exceptional, not necessarily stat wise but watching behind the play his work rate is unbelievable. We should be further in front, the lowering of the eyes and seeking the best option is impressive so far. Just bury them in the third.

Ticketek - A Painfully Long Explanation

Works well this system. More Geelong supporters than Dees in an MFC reserved seating area. That’s cross contamination right there. -
33 points up and Eagles decided to go to Tullamarine. Haven’t seen them stop like this in a while.

That run up.....classic.

I think deliberate is gone CB....us fans will have to scream ‘insufficient intent’ when the ball gets kicked or tapped out of play. Last night was the first time I’ve heard the umps use those words.

A little too cute the Swannies at the moment.

The MCG is one of three potential venues for the GF and there’s only one way for that to happen. ?? v ⚫️⚪️

The best show is the Tradies one from 5am-6am. Matthew Cox is great with the callers and the best part is he always reads out my texts on the Dees.

Not sure how else Trac could’ve answered the question. It’s not like his contract expires in 6 months, we just completed Round 3 and he still has 18 months to go. -
In the Burgess’ injury report he said we played an intra-club with the Casey guys on Saturday. Smith, M Brown, Lockhart and Hibbo all got through it unscathed.

I was very slow working this out, was wondering why Langdon has played the wing furthest from the bench in the first 3 games and Gus the nearest. Makes sense to have a winger that hardly leaves the ground for a rest on the other side of the bench and the wingers that get rotated more frequently nearer the interchange.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON

Yes it’s incredible, it was evident in the first practise match of 2020 against the Crows. A few times he won the hit-out that day and accelerated by our mids to get the ball first. -

Throw a little barber shop in the fine print and it’s a sealer. I’m sure we’ll do everything in our power to keep one of our better disposers of the ball. -
Was just about to post, emails from the club were sent a short time ago. From tomorrow, time depending on priority.

Some already have by the look of it, into $2.15.

Anyone know if Casey played a practice match on the weekend and if not why not? There were at least a couple of VFL practice games over the weekend.

Seriously AFL, I get that there’s a game still to be played this round but get your priorities right, like informing us about ticketing for our huge game next week. Really enjoying our start to the year, there’s a spring in the step every Monday, the kids squabbling is now entertainment and how good to have a team most of us can start trusting that when the chips are down they will fight it out. There will be down days, hopefully few and far between.

Loved it when I saw the headline last week and in case a few missed it ...The Kozzie Show is... -
Work rate has to be the main reason Sparrow continues to get a game, although he’s ok when he actually gets the ball. Looking at the Tracker stats, he’s our leading player in the first three weeks for average speed in both attack and defence. Stats for tonight have him down as 5 contested possessions but 4 disposals. 4 intercept possessions, 1 goal assist and 3 score involvements. Not bad for a quiet game.

Last week was a win and a good win, not many wins are perfect. Not sure why people are trying to take the gloss of it just because the Saints got smashed by Essendon. Saints played a hell of a lot better against us than what they did yesterday. There’s no way Essendon are a 13 goal better side than them, it just shows you how quickly the game can change week to week. Port and Saints both got smashed yesterday but for different reasons. Port tried hard but were just outclassed by a unit I believe has the best foot skills in the league and they couldn’t break down the Eagles’ system. Blind Freddy could tell you the mindset displayed by the Saints was very poor. I’ll be happy if we keep beating what’s in front of us, continue showing a level of maturity and team ethic that was on display last week and you go a long way in winning games.
