For once I agree with WYL, don't watch the bloody thing, I don't, I go to training and form my own opinion, one training report I pointed out the issue with McKenzie, so posters on here were actually better informed on that occasion As for anybody's opinion on what I post, I don't really care to tell you the truth i just get a bit bored with the constant carping by a small group of posters on here, who must spend many hours trying to think of what aspect of the Melbourne Football Club to whinge about next.....you do really need to get out more

Yes Casey players are and the Club website said Gawn may play, but not Viney Who knows what is going on with Clark, but the club now has to abide by privacy provisions What Jack situation, who knows, just a picture of him looking miserable (supposedly), on his birthday, how can Dave Misson talk about something that may be nothing
-
BB, the Casey reports may actually happen during the season proper, not practice matches I take it you are a qualifiied doctor/physiotherapist/homeopathic practicioner who will be able to second guess the medical and fitness staff at the club, on the timeframes associated with injury Jordie McKenzie actually thought he would be ok, I asked him, but he didn't come up. Mentioned next time this happens, if you provide your mobile number, he'll ring and let you know (THIS IS A JOKE) The medical report from Dave Misson is on a Tuesday, the picture of Watts in a pressure sock was yesterday, let's publicise the fact 3 days out that he won't play, let the Weagles plan around him not being there, great move, or shall we just leave it and leave them guessing

The continuing saga of Melbourne's injury list - 2014

You really are a funny guy some times, so Roos went against everything he said and played an unfit in Pedersen against the Saints Clumsy? he's playing footy not juggling, the guy in the nr 21 shirt right? -
This is a rough breakdown, the ringing is between 5:30 and 8 so lots are on voicemail or answering machine so we leave messages, not knockbacks a group will only sign up online, you always get a couple of them, some are going to sign up at the game (tradition) personally I only got one NO and he was going overseas and will think about an Armchiar membership, my lovely partner got one with the same thing, so out of the 400 or so calls you would probably get maybe 10 NO if you actually get to speak to them and that may be an over exaggeration if all that makes sense. Membership love us being in on Monday or Tuesday coz the phones light up on both Tuesday and Wednesday morning I reckon we should crack the 33000 this next week or so

A few more words from Nineteen, personally I enjoyed last night, the positivity from people I spoke to was reallly good "A back to regulation night with 9 volunteers 33 SIGN UPS from 419 dial ups. A record breaking 100 sign ups for our 2 nights. Tx to Judith, Pete, Liz, Daniel, Graham*, Perrin, Trish, Geoff & Geoff. We pushed the tally over the 32.300 mark & the staff are stretched. Interesting times"

Hey Chuckles they are updated, trying hitting refresh on your browser
-
All the players are now properly dressed....yay
-
Ok children once you have stopped the 'mine is bigger than yours' in the playground, we signed up 32 last night, so just 1 under a century over 2 nights, will list the intrepid souls later
-
Amen to that, I just hope the Gyz doesn't burn up the EFL this year we will never hear the end of it
-
I know Paul Roos had Cam Pedersen, Jack Fitzpatrick and Jeremy Howe as the permanent forwards with the rest rotating through: The converstaions went like this PR "ok Jack I want you to get concussed in the first quarter, sit on bench for a while and then get subbed, that should throw the structures we have practiced all week out" JF ok PR "Cam apart from now being the lone guy who is actually tall lin the forward half once Fitzy goes off, I actually want you to have to relieve in the ruck as well, so you won't get much rest" CP ok PR "now Tommy you get a couple of corkies but stay on and give it your best shot against a 200+ game veteran who can run all day"\ TMac ok Sigh and double sigh....don't go or don't watch on Sunday, don't want posters in agony next week as well
-
Actually chap the training jumper is outselling both other jumpers at the moment, considering one myself
-
Maybe if you are lying on your side and didn't notice the black shorts on the St Kilda players
-
Pennant, thank you for making me laugh out loud at my desk at my, no so pleasant at the moment, workplace....brilliant
-
OD, 2 words "JACK WATTS"......just been told by Nineteen that the record now stands at 67, they found 2 more tidiying up after we had left the building, onwards and upwards The only disappointment I am getting at the moment is that Rod Grinter Riot Squad doesn't seem to be on line, got to meet Rod last night, wanted to rub it in
-
RGRS, did you read the last bit?
-
Nineteen asked me to post this Volunteer telemarketing has been going for a couple of weeks Tonight "drum roll" we beat the all time record of 65 signups Intrepid diallers were Geoff x 2, Steve, Sarah, Patricia, Perrin, Peter x2, Julian, Tim,Judith, Catherine x 2, John and Heather, I think, you should see the piece of paper Nineteen gave me, so apologies if wrong I also checked every cupboard in the offices, couldn't find a spare tall forward anywhere, although did get to shake Rod Grinter's hand

in other news: On dawes: This is a calf complaint... strap it up and get on the park. He hasn't played for three weeks and has three weeks to go... I've never heard of a calf complaint taking 6 weeks So that's news is it, bit like Today Tonight........had the chance to have a good chat to him on Saturday, issue lies with last season and rushing back, did a bit of damage to his soft tissues, then he had knee surgery in off season, so lost some more conditioning, the idea is to get him back cherry ripe to play 15 or 16 games straight, not in for 1 and back out for 3 with yet another soft issue, this has been the same approach with Max Gawn, Dawes is as frustrated as evey supporter
-
You did watch the game?
-
Absolutely correct

Where were you on GF day in 1964?

Chap Paul Roos has a lot of time for Matt Jones, hence why he is in the the team, that was his first season last year, if ttraining on Thursday is anything to go by, Matt has earned his spot -
I hope so coz I am supposed to be handing them out, so we just need your membership card with an S on

I mentioned Jordie in my training report from yesterday, he didn't look impeded so assume he is just off slightly and with Roos saying he will not carry anybody into Round 1 he missed out, probably felt something during training on Wednesday and did the right thing and reported it
