In all seriousness, one is the fitness guy the other is the medical guy, obviously if he 'felt' something running around the tan, they want an on the spot analysis......I don't care if he runs with a masseur, a personal assistant, a meditation guru and a dietician as long as when he is ready he comes in and plays 15 or 16 games straight...........I actually like what we are doing with the players.....Riley having to now do a pre season....even though training watchers can see he is 'fully fit' now -

NAB Challenge 2 - Melbourne v Geelong

Due to now being Foxless (money on other priorities, now I am joining the many thousands being told you are a great worker but goodbye)......has anybody ever been to the Sports Bar at Crown to watch a game and if so, is it a good place to watch? !8 games in 18 days is Fox driven anyway -
I predict it will be on Saturday 22nd March, at Etihad, first bounce 7.40 and probably against St Kilda "Bail is in there because he has looked very solid playing a high half-forward role. I used to think he was awful, but he has begun to turn the corner i believe. Still needs to improve his kicking at goal".......he knows, spoke to him yesterday, I didn't have to say anything, said he hates set shots, gives him too much time to think, working with Miller and Watts to try and change it...knows it's a knock on his game

If you suffer from this, they say to think of something else....like what Demetriou looks like naked......or is that just me?

All Fitzy has to do is play as well as he can in the rest of the preseason games he gets and Roos will have to pick him, Fitzy himself said as much to me after the game yesterday -

"Another issues, not really discussed on here today at at any length, was the very substandard performance of Hogsn today. He seemed to me to be unfit, and overweight. I doubt whether he will play round one. He shouldn't. He doesnt deserve it" "On what I saw yesterday Hogan is a long way off in deserving a spot in Round 1. He didn't run enough to create opportunities and thus appeared to be part of a crowded forward line. His body language wasn't great either. He looked frustrated at times with the ball delivery. When he did run into space, they looked for him. As mentioned he isn't fit enough" You two did remember to face the green bit when watching didn't you....laughable.....I actually followed Hogan from end to end and stood behind the goal, his workrate was excellent, a lot of time his running went unrewarded ... -

The comments about the Casey players are crass, Panozza, Tim Smith and Jake Best of the ones I recognised all played as well as they could.......of the Melbourne players I thought Kent, Clisby and Byrnes were ordinary, but it was their first hit out The AFL report has it just about right. To show how finely tuned they have these blokes these days, spoke to Jayden Hunt who got hit with the gastro bug, lost 3kg, but already has it back on, on the playing side he showed his zip once by taking off down the corridor at one point with a multiple bounce run -

Can we please put the negativity away and get back on topic, Went today Michie, Tyson, Watts, Fitzpatrick all were good, Viney was Viney, King is a natural footballer just needs a body to go with it, Salem was classy, until the knock Dawes was looking ok Went down the end to watch Hogan in 1st qtr, Georgiou took him first up, it was good battle, one passage, Hogan led at least 3 times and then led again, heard Georgiou mutter the f word, Hogan's work off the ball is exemplary I asked Jack Fitzpatrick about his size, he did look bigger, now he has all health probs under control he is a tick under 100kg, so we have some size up forward, said that is his playing weight. -
Apart from asking Cam about his role, spoke to a few players at the Family Day, they all had specific roles, instructions and structures to adhere to, and that Roos' message during the breaks was just stick to what they had been told. JKH said when he sat down for the 3rd qtr he watched intently concentrating on the structures, which enabled him to have the impact he did in the 4th

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BERNIE VINCE

Apart from his playing ability he brings this as well -
Nah, that's Fletcher playing goalkeeper as the spare man, one of the forwards or mids drops back to cover his 'forward', if it is man on man then they have to go, personally I was glad to see a lot of teams going back to man on man last year instead of that zone rubbish. I am a bit more optimistic seeing how Roos coached the forward set up and all players bought into it and did their roles Roh Bail as well

If the defender did not go with Pedersen each and everytime, and he got uncontested marks, Hardwick would have been ropable, that is why the decoy works all the time, the defender has to go.

You forgot Jetta, Clisby, Tapscott and Harmes, assume if fit they may get a run, a few Casey guys will be making up the numbers, I know Tim Smith is one -
It was a joke, PJ was standing about 3 metres away during the presser, see my earlier post, didn't have a problem, seemed to like Chip's answers
-
Some posters on here do, it was aimed at them......they can't seem to come to grips with some of the roles Roos may require for the team

LUNA PARK FAMILY DAY - Sunday, 16 February, 2014
Satyriconhome replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Mitch Clark tweeted this "Great to have so many new members sign up over the weekend. If you haven't signed up yet get on board for 2014. #myheartbeatstrue"....and the membership seems to have jumped by a 1000 ot 2 so must have been a good day at the Family Day and after Friday -
Stop making sense, you will get some of them on here confused It takes a lot as I am fairly tolerant, but you have finally made my ignore list, you really are a tool Miscomprehension of posts to score personal points...I'll give you that one.....nothing valid to add/detract from the Pedersen debate...didn't think so
