  1. It would shut a lot up if we demolished Port. I think we can as well.
  2. I didn't say the legal system is flawed, it is what it is. The lads got on it, obviously alcohol is a problem for not just Liam. I hope the others don't drink drive as well.
  3. I didn't say our legal system is flawed, it's common knowledge that Liam got off because the lads were on the turps, which doesn't stand up in the courts. That is what it is and at the end of the day, justice will eventually prevail anyway - it generally catches up to sociopaths who think they are above the law and pay no respect for societies rules. You can say whatever you want, we will revisit all this after his next incident, which judging by recent history, will probably be in a week or so.
  4. Needs to be locked up before he kills someone. Regardless of all these charges he gets off, if you don't think there is a problem, you are an absolute JOKE. Just because he gets off a machete attack because they were all on the turps - we should pay Jurrah respect? Drink driving is not a joke either, this forum seems to support it - I don't and neither does our justice system. Actions speak louder than words and judging by Liam's actions in the past year, he is a dangerous individual, thinks he is above the law and needs to be locked up.
  5. He's making his last judge and jury look like fools. I just hope they lock this sociopath away, before he kills someone. The train wreck that is Liam Jurrah needs to come to a halt before someone is seriously injured. This is becoming a joke.
  6. I agree, Paul Roos is by far the worst football person on TV.
  7. I've said all along, get this bloke off our streets, he is a danger to others. If he isn't drink driving - he is assaulting people, he puts others lives in danger. Does drink driving endanger other peoples lives? Yes, it does. Does assaulting others endanger other peoples lives? Yes, it does. I am sorry if I want Jurrah locked away before he kills someone. Keep enabling though Bailey... I mean bing.
  8. Looks like Demonlands favorite son has done it again, no surprises here. Will be interesting to see how the lads put a positive spin on this one.
  9. I am not even going to comment on Dawes. But I am glad we picked up Kent and I look forward to him playing when he gets a chance. Going to be good to watch Viney and Wines go head to head.
  10. That's good news, looking forward to his debut.
  11. Yeah I can't see him making it, he lacks intensity and unlike Watts - Morton doesn't even look like wants to succeed. At least with Watts, he has worked his backside off and we've seen improvements in his body over time.
  12. Now that is what you call a one sided beatdown. Andy D, sitting there and taking Roos, Healy and Mike to school, very smart man Andy D. For those who watched it, a lot was said about our tanking saga, Andy explained it right in detail.
  13. Yeah, I always thought our very own G.Lyon was one of the better special comments blokes. As much as I dislike Lloyd as well, he is underrated in the special comments department. As far as Leigh goes, he certainly isn't as good at commentating - as coaching, but he is still worth listening to in a lot of areas of the game.
  14. No, Liam is to blame, every individual has choices. If Jurrah learns from this, then he should come out a smarter bloke, able to make better choices in the future. It will be a tough lesson to learn, but once he clears up his alcohol issues and seeks help, he still has a bright future. Now Port has closed the door on him, he has a lot of work ahead of him, if he is able to convince a side to take a gamble on him.
  15. I took note of a comment that Leigh Matthews had in regards to Michael Hurley, he mentioned that Hurleys best position on the ground would be at CHF and that Hurley was too aggressive to play CHB, Matthews continued to say that CHB players need to be poised, calm and more relaxed than Hurley is. Matthews description was exactly Jack Watts. So, hopefully now that Watts has found his position, he can show his wares.. I think Nick Nat will be injured a lot throughout his career.
  16. No big loss in comparison to the bloke we let go at the end of last year - who appears to be once again dominating at AFL level in Moloney. For the record, I was all for us letting Moloney go and not pursuing Valenti any further than we did. We probably had more of a need for Valenti at the time, than we do for Moloney this year. As good as Moloney might look at Brisbane, he gets a lot of clearances and just hacks it on the boot with no direction going forward.
  17. Neeld done the right thing this year and got some older heads involved - and those from successful clubs. I don't think he can do anymore than he is doing, the bloke is trying to turn things around. I think most supporters would be concerned, since it's been a long time since we even looked like making finals.
  18. Lyon can have his own opinion, I think the media overrate Lyons status amongst supporters. I don't think any of the supporters hold Lyon up as some sort of past legend. His role in the media over the years makes him out to be more to the club - than he is.
  19. Every individual has choices and are accountable for their on actions and behavior. It's too easy to blame the culture of the MFC.. Ultimately it is up to the individual. I am sure Jurrah would not lay blame on the MFC for his problems, so I don't know why you would be?
  20. Who cares about the result, VIney sounds like he is going well, least we got a kid who has a dip this year. Nathan Jones will be happy, he doesn't have to have a crack on his lonesome. Blease has a go as well, hopefully he starts round 1, we need these types up and running.
