I agree and Rory Sloane is an absolute gun, like Nathan Jones, he is very underrated.

On field at least, Essendon get by on a lot of luck, they are one of those sides. I can't stand them either.

I think we will surprise a few.. We should finished above GWS, GC, Port, Bullies and hopefully a couple other sides. Can't see why we can't finish above North either.

I think Jurrah has played his best football on the big stage, he was one hell of a player and one hell of a talent. A player like Jurrah would've killed it in the 80's and 90's, but IMO he'll struggle to cope with the rigors of a professional environment. Like we seen with Dayle Garlett in the draft recently, it's not just about talent anymore, it's about how hard you are willing to work and buy in. With football being a business, it will take some convincing for any side to buy in with Jurrah - considering what has gone on and his problem with the drink.

He'll get looked after, I don't think anyone thought he'd ever do time. Eventually he'll most likely go in for something or other - I just hope he doesn't kill anyone on the road in the process. Drink drivers are a real worry.

Good on Schwarz, sounds like he was a real dirtbag in his time, that is what the punt can do, it can completely change a man. I am sure he's a top bloke, he gets my vote for facing his demons head on...

Dustin Martin is one of Richmond's best players, they won't get rid of him. And if they do, there will be every other club in the running for him. If by some miracle Richmond do get rid of him, then he would leave Vic. This thread shouldn't exist.

Matthew Richardson suffered a similar injury to Clarks? I hope we aren't rushing Clark and Trengove back too early. Like most, I am nervous about Clark, he is that important and that good.

Collingwood can't keep all these players without doing something dodgy IMO. They would've freed up a bit of their cap by getting rid of Dawes and Wellingham. But not enough of it to leave room for Thomas - who will command some serious coin. Although, he has been injured and if he doesn't have a good year this year, Collingwood might play hard ball. Then he could be open to a big offer. I really don't think Daisy leave Vic as he is a Drouin lad and seems to get back here a fair bit. But, realistically, big time players in the big, successful clubs are going to be hard for us to entice.

I can't imagine Watts leaving our club. He is a Vic lad, his family live in Melbourne as far as I know. We have enough coin to match other offers. If rumors are true that we did try to offload Watts - then a cloud goes over Neeld somewhat because offloading Watts was the more ridiculous ideas I'd heard of since we got rid of Junior. Jack Watts was always going to develop late like Tom Hawkins, they both dominated juniors and just need time. I am not sold Neeld tried to offload Watts either, surely he isn't that silly, he seems pretty switched on and Watts worked hard last year.

At least Watts had a good game.

We know Moloney is good, he isn't showing us nothing we haven't seen, he won our B&F and finished well in the brownlow a couple years back. The guy can play, but even still, we really need to blood a couple of young mids and find a Tapscott or Trengove that can take that next step.
