Interesting isn't it. If the players know what it is, you'd expect them to tow the party line and try to get off, which aligns with their current behaviour. If the players don't know, you'd think they'd be up in arms crying "wtf did you inject me with?!?". Suggests to me that they know exactly what it is but don't want to stir the pot as they know it's banned.

From a list management perspective, it's not like getting Prestia precludes us from getting another tall midfielder unless there is one available at that price range. We got out last one from the rookie draft, and he's working out really well. I see nothing wrong with ND5 for Prestia and a separate trade/draft/rookie draft for another vanDenberg if we can find one.

Remember all the conjecture last year and then we get Frost out of nowhere? The year before that, we get our compo pick and no one had any idea who we'll get, and then in comes Vince? I have absolutely no doubt that this'll happen again. Someone who's not on any other club's radar but Roos has it all sussed out. He's a crafty one. I'll brace myself for the pleasant surprise :D

I like Dermie. The man has a massive ego but he provides a lot of comments that aren't just stating the obvious. BT shits me up the wall. Triple M can be entertaining but I get sick of all their in-jokes. I'm also really sick of commentators getting players' names wrong. Almost all of them do it, and I suppose there are a lot of names to learn, but damn it's frustrating if you're listening on the radio. You have no way of telling if they are calling the right names or not. At least if you're at the game or watching on TV you know when they're wrong. I agree with the OP on Carey. I'm surprised about how insightful some of his comments are. From what we've seen of his personal life in the papers over the year he didn't seem like an intelligent guy, but he really comes off as very knowledgeable.
