Watching on my end. Try refreshing the page FD.

Fritsch might very well be a worthy addition to this list by the end of his career, but I think I'd have Brad Green or Cameron Bruce in his place.
-
Considering how underrated he is in the wider competition, Viney in the top 10 let alone top 50 is a big surprise. Good to see Jack get some recognition. Think he surprised a few on Brownlow night with how good a year he had.
-
If pick 1 is out of the question, the only deal I could see us doing between now and the draft is one to bag another top 10 selection using our pick 11 and a future first. Pick 7 (GWS) or pick 8 (Geelong) would probably be the likely candidates. I suppose it'll depend on who we're after on draft night.

The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread

Hope we're in the ear of Fergus Greene who was just delisted by the Hawks. Probably not going to revolutionise our forward 50, but showed in the first half of the year that he knows where the goals are. Injury cut his year short and the Chol + Gunston additions haven't helped his cause. A Hawks supporting mate of mine rated him and was disappointed to see him cut -
Cam Pedersen played some terrific footy for us after he was traded from North.

Not to say we wouldn't do our due diligence, but St Kilda seem a bit too eager to see him out the door. Still, seems a low risk, high reward bit of business.
-
Lamb reiterated that Petty will 100% be a Demon next year. But aside from McAdam and maybe another pick swap, it sounds like we're about done for this trade period.
-
Straight swap with the Bont seems fair

Think I read that they mentioned that the interest was there last week, but they're unsure if we're still keen.

Big pass. Subpar skills, poor decision maker and nowhere near physical enough. Would prefer to give Blake Howes or AMW a crack instead.
-
I'm surprised we never tried playing Harmes as more of a forward over the last couple of years. He's always been a good mark overhead and has a knack of finding the goals.

Yes '15, '17, '19 and now '23 to go alongside a win in '16

EDIT: Sorry wrong thread While i'm here, Jack Viney to collect his 2nd Best and Fairest. 1st - J.Viney 2nd - C.Petracca 3rd - T.Rivers 4th - S.May 5th - M.Gawn Will Grundy attend tonight?
-
Jed Adams third in the GF sprint final. Surprisingly pacey for a big man.
-
I'd love McLean in Melbourne colours, but he re-signed until '27 about a month ago.

Am I only one thinking that we should be looking at this? Surely he wouldn't eat up too much of our salary cap? Could Goldstein and Gawn play in the same team? Who knows? Saying that, I think Goldstein offers more as a forward than Grundy. But with Grundy seemingly Sydney bound, a back up ruck is a must for us in this off season. Verrell and KFW are still a minimum two seasons off senior selection and playing 20+ games a season isn't going to get any easier for Maxy. Can we sell Goldstein the idea of being a back-up or playing more of a 2nd ruck/forward role? Again, who knows? But its worth a phone call in my opinion.

How good are GWS to watch at the moment? Fast, brutal, and most importantly, accurate footy
-
I wish we still had Jesse but we probably don't win in 2021 without Steven May in defence. Sliding doors.

6. May 5. Lever 4. Spargo 3. ANB 2. Sparrow 1. Smith

You'd imagine Hibberd would be sub. Would be bizarre to completely drop him after his superb shut down job on Jamie Elliot last week.
-
With McKay out, would it be worth rolling the dice by bringing in Tomlinson and throwing May forward? Would certainly provide a better forward contest than Schache or Grundy. We're running out of options.
-
6. Gawn 5. Petracca 4. Bowey 3. ANB 2. Oliver 1. Viney

This feels too real now. I barely slept at all last night. Here's some great pump-up material I found on YouTube at 2:30 this morning.
