My 3 word player analysis V Carlton
Chandler has turned into a super reliable player. No superstar, but plays his role and generally makes good decisions. Harsh critique I reckon.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Carlton
Argh, I pulled the short straw and ended up stuck at work today. Gutted I missed an incredible win and celebration for our x2 250 gamers. Am I reading the stats sheet incorrectly? Or did Sparrow have 29 touches?

GAMEDAY: Rd 03 vs Carlton
Our forwards haven't even had the chance to mark so far. Ball has lived in Carlton's F50.

We look very timid so far Letting Carlton dictate terms early.

PREGAME: Rd 03 vs Carlton
Wow. Unexpected. Rivers was far from our worst over the first two weeks.

PREGAME: Rd 03 vs Carlton
I think it's still too early to bring AMW back into the senior team. Give him another week or two to find his feet in the VFL. If he looks the goods, then bring him in for Sparrow and play him at half back, allowing Lindsay to play more midfield which is where he looked most comfortable when he was moved there in the third quarter against the Saints.

Koltyn Tholstrup Re-Signs until 2028
Hopefully playing on the best gives him some great insight and fast tracks his development. We really need our young midfielders to come on quicker than expected.

PREGAME: Rd 03 vs Carlton
Shaping up as a huge day for the club with Max Gawn set to play in his 250th game and potentially TMac (coming in for Disco) also set to play his 250th game. This is a must win. We owe Carlton big time.

VOTES: Rd 02 vs Fremantle

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Fremantle
Two half decent quarters but that felt like more than 48 points. Max is a warrior. Steele and Langdon also worked hard. Langford and Lindsay are a concerning story so far in 2026. Langford can't find the football and Lindsay seems to have lost his composure with ball in hand. Losing Disco early (who was looking ok) hurt us big time and exposed Petty big time.

Need Culley to find more of the football. Everytime he has it, good things seem to happen.

Latrelle isn't ready for AFL yet.

GAMEDAY: Rd 02 vs Fremantle
We've kicked four goals to zip so far in this quarter. Credit to the Kingy and the lads for digging in. We are still in this in a big way.

Actually looking okay this quarter so far. Steele winning a fair bit of ball at the moment. Dockers might be nervous after last week.

CASEY: Rd 01 vs Footscray VFL
Sounds like a mixed day for X.Taylor in his first proper VFL match. Did he not pick the pace of the game or was his disposal a bit off?

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Big tick for game awareness. Very simple, but great footy IQ from Culley there.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Agreed. Looked much more comfortable in the ruck compared to last year. Had some solid moments down back as well. Big year for him with May now retired.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
I wasn't a fan at first, but Kolt was a decent choice to curb NWM. Nasiah only had 18 touches, most of which came from his disposal chains from half back. A tagging role could be good for his development. No better way to learn your craft than to play on the best.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Fritsch had some moments he'd like to have back (that play on and wild snap in the last was terrible), but still had 8 score involvements. Didn't mind the role he played today.

Mammoth last quarters by Maxy, Steele and Sharp of all players! What a way to start the King era!
