Defence looks totally overwhelmed whenever Frankston go forward. We looked better in the last ten minutes. If Culley isn't pinged for a push in the back in the goalsquare, we'd still be right in this. We're not without a chance, but we need to seriously bring it in the final quarter.

His form for the Hawks showed he had potential as a forward, but I'd pass. Anyone who's just been delisted by a bottom four side should be approached with extreme caution. There's usually a reason why these guys don't get games.

The late career renaissance of both Melksham and TMac. Melksham with a career best goal tally and wasn't TMac leading in one-on-one defensive contests at some point of the year?
Well called DD. I like Spargs. He's shown flashes of brilliance over the years but he doesn't quite do enough at AFL level. Doesn't kick enough goals as a small forward, doesn't get enough of the ball for a half-forward/mid. I'll be interested to see if the new coach has him in his plans or not.
Officially weighing up his options
Max is seriously the best Melbourne player I've seen in my lifetime. I wouldn't put it past him to break the record and make it 9 AA's next season.
