NON-MFC: Round 01
Swans look like the real deal this year. Credit to them. Parker, Mills and Adams still to return as well.

NON-MFC: Round 01
I hope so! It'll keep Jim Stynes' consecutive games record intact!

POSTGAME: Opening Round vs Sydney
If we're serious about 2024, Schache shouldn't play another game for us. It wasn't a night for key forwards, but he is seriously a liability in the forward line and ruck. To his credit, Grundy knew how to topple Max. His physicality played a huge part in Sydney rolling over the top of us in the last quarter. Viney was Viney. Excellent game, even if he occasionally tries to pull off more than he can chew. May was also very good. After all the pre-season hype, Laurie was very disappointing. Sparrow likewise. We really missed Kozzie tonight. Our smalls in Spargo and Chandler also did little to enthuse. Billings only had 2 touches after coming on as the sub. On the plus side, Howes and Windsor showed promising signs. Howes in particular looked right at home in the defensive 50. Really liked McVee's game as well. Doggies in 10 days. Plenty of time for 'learnings'

Top 10 Dees of the 21st Century
Fritsch might very well be a worthy addition to this list by the end of his career, but I think I'd have Brad Green or Cameron Bruce in his place.

Dwayne Russell's 2024 Top 50
Considering how underrated he is in the wider competition, Viney in the top 10 let alone top 50 is a big surprise. Good to see Jack get some recognition. Think he surprised a few on Brownlow night with how good a year he had.

The Pick 3 Thread
If pick 1 is out of the question, the only deal I could see us doing between now and the draft is one to bag another top 10 selection using our pick 11 and a future first. Pick 7 (GWS) or pick 8 (Geelong) would probably be the likely candidates. I suppose it'll depend on who we're after on draft night.
