At this point we should deliberately try and target Richmond defenders when going inside 50. The results can't be any worse than what we're currently seeing. Fullerton is a handy enough 2nd ruck but he's nowhere near it as a key forward. Has been beaten comprehensively by a first gamer in Gray Trac and Clarry need to pull their fingers out. Both look completely uninterested which is a disgrace considering the occasion. Kozzy also looks a completely different player when compared to his five goal heroics last week. T.Mac continues to amaze in defence. Hopefully a '26 contract isn't too far away. Lindsay and Langford look the goods.

Not sure about Fritsch getting an immediate recall after a so-so VFL performance. Saying that, if we play like we did against Freo, Fritsch will be one who'll highly benefit.

Howes played well yesterday especially considering he was matched up on Amiss for most of the day. Amiss broke loose late but was fairly unsighted for the first three quarters.

Tempting, but I dunno. I'd much rather continue stockpiling 177cm small forwards who have less than 10 touches a game and don't kick goals every week.

Lose back to back against Freo at the G and a struggling young Tigers side on ANZAC eve and I can't see Goodwin surviving.

JVR needs to improve but my god he needs support in the forward line. I can't believe we're expecting him to play as our solo key forward and as a second ruck. Incredibly poor from the coaching staff to not select Johnson/Turner (not that I think it would've made much of a difference to the result tonight...)

Tagging or not, three touches from an experienced player like Sparrow is not good enough.

Thrilled to see Lindsay back. Seeing him and Langford play a full game together will be exciting. Hopefully he hasn't been rushed and is 100% good to go. With his recent form, I really get the feeling that Fullerton's papers have already been stamped if he can't get a spot in our forward line.

Finally accept that 2025 is not meant to be.

Bowey and Chandler are probably top five in our B&F if it was held today. TMac has continued his late career resurgence in defence. Otherwise, pretty slim pickings.

I've been a Fritsch defender and while I thought be showed more desire to be involved tonight, my god, he is in the biggest form slump I can remember for a Melbourne player. Shanked nearly every kick and made some terrible decisions when we looked dangerous going forward. I'd consider dropping him but the options just aren't there.

Bombers, Freo and Tigers to come. Lose all three and I'm not sure how Goodwin can survive.
