THE 2024 AFL NATIONAL DRAFT - DAY ONE
Still holding out hope that Tauru slips to our second pick. Otherwise will be thrilled with Langford and either Lindsay/Allan/Berry

2024 Phantom Drafts
I'll be happy with any of Tauru, Allan, Lindsay or Berry at pick 9. I think all of them would slot into our round 1 team.

We picked up pace last year with Windsor. No issues if Langford is our first selection.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 18th November 2024
Poor Spargs had a year from hell with his achilles. I imagine the club will be very cautious in his return to full training.

2024 Phantom Drafts
If we draft Tauru, I think it shows how much optimism the club has that both Petracca and Oliver will both be back to their best next season.

- Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
I just watched Allen's highlights and there's some good attributes there. Solid in the air and physically he looks close to AFL ready. I wouldn't be upset if we snag him at pick 9. Hopefully the 'go-home factor' isn't an issue.- 2024 Phantom Drafts
I'm bullish on either Petty or Turner eventually replacing May provided Jeffo comes on to fill the forward spot.- Gold Coast Suns Rebrand
They did a great job in highlighting 'the scorching sun' as this is painful to look at.- 2024 Player Reviews: #15 Ed Langdon

Hope that SEN phantom draft isn't a sign of things to come Selecting both Smillie and Shanahan would be disappointing if all of Langford, Tauru, Reid and Travaglia are available at picks 5 and 9.- 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee
Potentially the most intriguing playing on our list. He has all the tricks and will only get better with another pre-season. I still remember watching his debut live at the 'G at the start of 2023 when he'd seemingly come from nowhere after he had a great pre-season. Straight away you could see that he was a smooth operator. How about the baulk on Libba at 1:17? 👇👇 This year, you could see that his teammates were looking to get the ball in his hands more often when we were exiting 50. He took some great scalps as a small defender as well. He looked a little bit lost when we moved him into the midfield but I think the potential of him playing there is huge.- 2024 Player Reviews: #31 Bayley Fritsch
Still our most important forward. Managing 41 goals in a season as a medium forward when he wasn't 100% fit, alongside our poor forward entries is an impressive feat. I loved watching him tear Hawthorn apart in the final quarter earlier this year. I think he kicked 3.1 and took a ripper over Sicily in the space of six minutes. The dribbler to seal the win against Geelong was another obvious highlight.- 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem
He still has his moments but seems to have lost a fair bit of confidence and his body. The penetration in his usual 'laser like' kicking has also been lacking over the last couple of years. Hoping for a TMac like renaissance next year as he there's still plenty he can provide as we continue to blood the next generation.- 2024 Player Reviews: #2 Jacob van Rooyen

Watch Geelong turn him into Stengle 2.0.- 2024 Player Reviews: #33 Tom Fullarton

I for one applaud the return of Daniel Nicholson as kicking coach. In all seriousness, I'm sure this relates to the talks we had with N.Jones a couple of weeks ago.- 2024 Player Reviews: #41 Kynan Brown

Have heard whispers from a source close to me (he usually has good intel) that North are leaning towards selecting Josh Smillie with pick 2 (pick 3 after Ashcroft).- Draft night - How it may work out?
- Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
I'd personally keep pick 9 and draft a Tauru/Travaglia. I don't hate the idea of drafting Armstrong but he's a 3–4 year project player whereas there are plenty of options who look AFL ready now. Considering we've jettisoned our first pick of '25 off to the Bombers, I think we'll be looking at guys who'll make an impact pretty quickly.- Nathan Krueger - Delisted
He clearly has talent but 15 games since the start of 2021 has red flag written all over it. - Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
