  1. I like it
  2. Clearly back where he belongs in the midfield
  3. Didn’t we spend our money on Lever. We freed up Wattsy $ to afford Lever. What’s left? Only if we cash in Vince and Lewis.
  4. Spargo - Rising star night nomination?????
  5. Needs to run into form. Still in recovery mode.
  6. Ridiculous. We continue to find ways to fuc$@(/!kup everything. McCartney will be gone by season end
  7. Good return. Ahead of Harmes, ANB, Melksham, Vince and Lewis. Definitely retain for next 5-6 weeks to pickup pace of the game again. Definite keeper
  8. No second chances. We chose Toumpas over Wines despite Wines being an absolute standout junior, and best mates with Jack Viney (plus overwhelming Demonlanders demanding Wines) Such is life!!
  9. Xavier Duursma has started the 2018 season in good form. Inside mid with good pace. Captain of Gippsland Power under 18s. Hard at the footy. Good connection with Demons as his dad was in Dees list without playing a game and of course his uncle Jamie Duursma played with the Demons. Better keep him under wraps for now as we have no 1st round picks right now in 2018 draft.
  10. No more my therapy is ongoing Maric? Strauss?
  11. Sam needs to bulk up but should be given 5-6 games run in the MFC team
  12. Wait and see. Loved Luna Park with the kids.
  13. Dees got Lever & 2nd round Crows 2017 (Petty) & 3rd round Crows 2018 Crows got 1st round Dees 2017 (D Fogarty) & 1st round Dees 2018 & 4th round Dees 2018
  14. Great story on MFC Website about young Oskar. Had to overcome adversity. I like his style to take on the game with his pace. Don’t be surprised if the ginger ninja gets a spot in the team in early rounds of 2018.
  15. That’s cruel. After no 1st rounders in 2016 and 2017 Draft, we have traded out again of the 1st round in 2018. We have put the chips into Weideman and Lever who cost us 2016-18 1st rounders. History will judge us like the 2007-15 junket of Top 10 & Top 20 picks.
  16. Agree he is big and strong. I still shudder at the Luke Molan big and strong selection from 2001. I thought we would pick a Ruck like Hayes or runner like Wooller or Garner. He might actually develop into a ruck as he is apparently still growing.
  17. There’s a spot in the team for Baker. Needs to compete with Stretch for the fast running wing position that I see as a missing element in our best 22.
  18. Real competitor but will need to work extra hard. Must watch Caleb Daniel and Jake Gresham really closely. They have overcome height deficiencies.
  19. Keeps the Casey pathway connections. Motivator for the other young guns.
  20. Hmmm. Ballard, Moore, Taylor and Walker. Not a win here. Ballard ... skinny Grgic type. Disposal is below average. Moore ... is ok at 31 but not if Garner or Wooller is available. Taylor ... tall defender. We have plenty. Walker ... opportunist forward with some mid potential Would prefer if available on this listing 29 Wooller 31 Garner 36 Farrell 47 McLean or Coleman-Jones
  21. Hamish Brayshaw. Great grab on afl website. Would be great to see MFC potentially grab him at 47. He has the ability to make it.
  22. Fritsch was out with Jamie Elliott. Very high risk draftee.
  23. Great story about Zac Bailey on AFL website. Good Demons connection. I had him at pick 30. Would be happy to see him land at a MFC selection.
