  1. Just got text from MFC Bring a friend for free to Round 22! Round 22 will be our annual Member Thank You Round, a tradition where we recognise and celebrate the ongoing support of our members. All Access Members, including AFL Club Support members, will receive a complimentary gift from the Melbourne Football Club as a token of our appreciation. This initiative is our way of thanking you for your loyalty and support throughout the season. Your commitment plays an important role in the success of our club. —-———————- Dear Nathan Buckley Would you like to come to the footy this weekend Yours sincerely SONS
  2. Luke Hodge. Gerarrrd Whateley. Even the mad suggestion that the leaders are now disrupted and that Gawn should “consider his options, to chase premiership glory with another club in the window over the next two years” !!! What the ?
  3. Libba punch … zero Darcy punch … zero Curtis punch … 1 week Wow.
  4. Actually the MRO is very consistent. Nothing to see for Cats or Pies players. Moore Mihocek Dangerfield And … Tom Stewart Tom Stewart - launched himself. Duty of care? The potential to cause injury doesn't count this week!
  5. “Believe there is a certain journo, his name begins with Jay (and yes ends as Clark) who is absolutely over the moon with Dees sacking Goody… and his mate Warner (or Mick as he might be called) are media gutter [censored] of the highest order. Jay C is the type of bloke to probably kiss the mirror good night before bed”. Love this post after the Goody dismissal
  6. @Demonland Media like Eddie Maguire say Melbourne are this incredibly unstable club … having sacked a 9 year coach. In that time: North - 4 coaches Carlton - 3 Essendon - 3 Gold Coast - 3 St Kilda - 3 Unstable ?
  7. I rate White in the late 40s in this draft. He has upside but there is still plenty of talent in this draft that should get picked before White. Let’s hope he lasts through to at least the 3rd round or after.
  8. He’s a good player with his pace and footy iq, playing either in the midfield/rover role or as a defender. Impressed in Vic metro game as well but likely to be a 50-60 draft pick.
  9. Why Melbourne’s decision to sack Simon Goodwin was the right one (which shouldn’t denigrate his achievements & legacy)👇 nine.com.au/sport/afl/news… @FootyonNine @wwos
  10. Chaplin coaching. We have had the Reverend … now the Chaplin !!!
  11. But amongst the pile of excrement , these two are also trying to disrupt even more Not Damo. Not Caro. Not Clarky. Not Tommy Morris. Yes it’s Whateley the cats lover and Luke Hodge … suggesting Gawn should look to move to a club competing for a premiership in the next 2 years Where does that leave the skipper?" What does Goodwin's sacking mean for Max Gawn and the rest of the Melbourne leaders? @WhateleySEN | #AFL
  12. https://nine.social/107A Sam McClure The future of the Melbourne Football Club remains unclear, after the club parted ways with premiership coach Simon Goodwin on Tuesday morning. Sam McClure joined 3AW Drive to have his say on the sacking of Goodwin and what’s next for the Demons. “I think Melbourne with their kids list wise can turn this around pretty quickly if they get the coach selection right.” McClure said on 3AW Drive
  13. Dogs $1.02 Dees $25 Chaplin might not even trouble the wins column in the next 3 weeks
  14. Agree @Little Goffy Thanks to Simon 🏆 From all of us Dee-minions
  15. Dees Let get Ange … we will be premiers in year 2 … then sack him !!! !!
  16. Ps. Garry Lyon and panel appointed Mark Neeld. Do not let him anywhere near this selection process !!!!
  17. I guess it took the board 7 months to find a new CEO, who then couldn’t start for a further 4 months. So maybe they think they will start the search for the new coach now and have them appointed by … before round 1 2026 hopefully 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  18. NATHAN BUCKLEY 🤞 daylight SKIPWORTH COREY ENRIGHT CAM BRUCE 😊 SCOTT BURNS 👍🏻 BRETT MONTGOMERY
  19. But this is how we treat our premiership coaches, dismissed at a whim !!
  20. @Demonland I thought make the decision at the end of the 2025 season. Dees would move to dismiss Goodwin and payout him for 2026. Terrible timing from the 🤡board 🤡with 3 games to go in the season. Not the way to treat a man who delivered a premiership. A little respect could have been shown. Thanks Goody for your service and for 2021 🏆
  21. Would rather have someone like Paddy Cross deserving of a finals game than Spargo. At least he kicks goals and would be part of the Casey team.
  22. @Demonland welcome back 👏👏👏WE MISSED YOU Lots to talk about The good… Jack Viney - broken hand, no worries - he’s a tough warrior - 8 tackles & 13 clearances. He’s as tough as anyone ever to wear red and blue Caleb Windsor - well… quiet for three quarters and struggled (7 possessions)… then 9 with his run and carry through the middle and hitting targets … that’s what we want to see Clayton Oliver. I think we saw glimpses of the old Clarry … he was good and saw some reminders of his run away from contest Fritsch. 4 straight. Showed his elite goal sense and classy goalkicking. He’s still a weapon and Dees need to keep him in red and blue Max Gawn - Led from the front. He’s locking in the ruck All Australian 2025 role. He’s a legend. Surely they can’t think Grundy or Cameron or Xerri are better this year. Christian Salem - Was brave in defence and I had him in as one of our best. Metres gained 400 , much better impact with the footy (although still looked slow at times and gets exposed too often across the grass) Harvey Langford (full name of course ) I think he’s back into rising star contention. Thought he might get rested but looked still full of run. Only knock on him… get a right foot. Even Bont has to kicK it on his right sometimes JAI CULLEY - great story. He could be a player. Not sure where he fits though. He’s too slow for the wing. He got caught out a few times as Eagles ran past or away from him. Good marking. Good kick. Perhaps half forward . Loved the 21.13. Accurate goalkicking. Wow. Yes low pressure Yes inside and under the roof so three games to go. Are we a chance in any ? Unlikely !!! we again had Too many “Missed tackles” Lazy disposal and turnovers Stupid50s given Up and under kicks into forward 50 (need forwards leading and low direct passes)
  23. The rule is, once you choose to smother, then you are liable for what comes next." Is Tom Stewart in any MRO strife over this incident? Absolutely Definite 2 weeks. High. Low impact. Careless. Cannot argue anything but careless… he jumps and makes contact. That’s no accident
  24. He’s part of the future. Will be hugely disappointed if he walks.
  25. Christian Petracca wants to leave at season's end, writes Jay Clark, there's an obvious destination. THE TACKLE 👉 bit.ly/45gbW7h It’s another “I hate Melbourne “ article by Jay Clark. He’s a disruption journalist. Nothing like the great Mike Sheahan. Dees win by 83 … so let’s write a disruptive story. He’s tries too hard. Ps. He Loves the Cats.
