Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Crows 1st and their future 1st for Petracca That’s a rubbish deal Pick 14 will drift to pick 18-21 in this draft and likely the Crows are strong in 2026 so another 18-21 pick likely. Two such picks don’t cut it. I’d like to keep Petracca and see how King can work with him.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
FOX FOOTY Adelaide is growing in confidence Christian Petracca will choose them as his preferred trade destination this off-season. @WillFaulknerFOX reports >> bit.ly/4px8ONN —/——-/—-/-////———- My views: Crows can offer NOTHING to the Demons. Nothing! Dees would need 2 x 1st round picks that are top 15. Trac is a star. A match winner. Runner up B&F. He’s the type of player that can play into his 30s and be a mid/fwd weapon. Trac should think about that choice, as my view, he would be foolish to pick them or indeed foolish to leave us.

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
@Deemolitioner and they had a few other mixed ones but I was staggered by them having Addinsall at 32!! Omg. Range 30-50 🤮. If anyone saw him v giants in the last VFL game, he had 26 possessions and wasn’t out of place against senior players. Not doubt for me. He’s top 10. I have him at pick 9 and I think (ffs) the other clubs SHOULD MOVE TO MAKE THE SUNS PAY TOP DOLLAR POINTS FOR THEIR ACADEMY GUNS AND PICK GUYS LIKE ADDINSALL EARLY AND FORCE SUNS TO MATCH !! Addinsall. Skill. Smarts. Composure. Run. He’d walk into our MFC best 22 as a mid in a short time in 2026. Actually he’d be wasted to go the Suns #32: Beau Addinsall (GCS Academy): Position: Midfielder Height: 180cm Club: Allies / Suns Academy Draft Range: 30-50 Beau Addinsall is among a number of draft hopefuls whose 2025 season was heavily disrupted by injury. The time spent sidelined has contributed to him slipping from wider draft discussions, but there remains a strong case to be made for the Suns Academy prospect based on his prior form.

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
@Deemolitioner I agree. I think Onley has so so many weapons. If we picked him and it was anywhere past pick 20-25, it would be a huge huge win.

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Not sure but like all draft rankings there’s some surprise as too high and others as too low. For example, Riley Onley is often mentioned in round 1 rankings and I’d have him around pick 20 after the concessional academy and father son picks. But these guys have him at “48”. Wow. He’d be a bigger steal than Logan Morris and Joel Freijah. Onley is a big midfielder who win it inside or outside and kick it 55 metres with ease. Sure his precision kicking needs work but he’s not far away with AFL refinement. So “48”… that would be Xmas for any team at that pick Their write up … #48: Riley Onley: Position: Midfielder Height: 194cm Club: Vic Country / Murray Bushrangers Draft Range: 40+ Riley Onley entered the 2025 season as one of the more highly regarded prospects in the country, and it’s not difficult to understand why. At his best, he is a physically imposing, explosive midfielder with rare athletic traits. Standing at an imposing size for his position, Onley possesses genuine breakaway speed, power through contact, and the ability to extract the ball cleanly from congestion.

AFLW: Rd 06 vs West Coast
An excellent 3/4 performance today. We march on with confidence!! Go Dees ❤️💙😎

Equalisation
Lions are likely to get another top 5 as an ACADEMY HANDOUT again this year. They win or a runners up and still get a FREE WIN from their academy. It’s not coincidence. Father son and Academy had been exceptional for them.

Lachy Dovaston
He’s a smart small forward. Has the footy IQ to be a weapon. Lacks the speed of Nick Watson but is similar with his cheek, goal sense and shocking haircut !!! It’s a yes from me.

Trade Targets
Players linked to us : Wade Derksen - highly likely Brodie Mihocek - highly likely Max Heath - likely Sam Flanders - a chance Malcolm Rosas - unlikely

Welcome to Demonland: Brody Mihocek
Agree. He clearly wasn’t right and it showed. The Pies take a risk and it failed tonight.

AFL Draft 2025: Coates Talent League
Robey kicked a vital goal. But it’s the Dragons full of run. 5 goals to 1. Willis Reidy with 4 goals, 👏👏showing out as a talent too.
-
Wade Derksen
Agree. I guess we won’t hear anything until post the GF and when trade week starts. I think GWS will push for a 3rd or 4th round pick. They played hardball last year and then didn’t play him at all in 2025. Had good form until he was injured later in the year. He was behind too many good talk defenders at the Giants. He’s a good intercept mark and competes hard. Will be a good addition if he can get him imv.

AFL Draft 2025: Coates Talent League
1/2 time. Three goal lead to the Rsnges after a 6 goal second quarter to flip the game. Some of the likely draftees are standing out Ranges. Xavier Taylor. 14 possessions. 7 marks. Controlling the back half. Lachie Dovaston. Shocking haircut. Trying to be a Nick Watson clone. He’s a smart small forward and two good goals. Oskar Taylor. 13 possessions. So damaging with the footy. Plays like Archie Roberts. Left foot rebounding half back. Can see why he’s riding up the draft boards. Sullivan Robey. Two early goals. 6 possessions but his movement and composure with the footy screams AFL quality. Ollie Greeves. Like an Ollie Wines. Big contested player. Smart too and tackles strong. His goal was Petracca like!! Dragons Rory Wright. You can see his potential when he gets the footy. Knows how to run into space. His left foot kicking is excellent, though one clanger did let him down. Xavier Bamert. Showing that, as I think, he’s better behind the ball as a half back. Good left foot rebounding skills. Good overhead. Not sure why he played forward for many games this year.

AFL Draft 2025: Coates Talent League
Xavier Taylor (Ranges) Already 8 disposals and 3 marks. He’s like a Daniel Turner clone. Good mark. Can rebound the footy. Also likes the physical side when needed. Will go top 25-30.

AFL Draft 2025: Coates Talent League
Kye Fincher. Goal from 50 and it sailed through. He’s a quality player (tied to Saints academy).
-
AFL Draft 2025: Coates Talent League
First goal to the Ranges to … Sullivan Robey. Who else? Good competitive mark and kick from 40m on a tight angle. No worries for him !!!

Farewell Judd McVee
He might only want short term if he’s not convinced our MFC future, living in Melbourne or indeed his role in the team. Again offer four years. If he only wants to sign up for two years, that’s okay.
-
Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Steven King must take as much Geelong IQ as he can. They just seem to know how to extract the best from their players & create a system to beat teams.
-
Farewell Judd McVee
My vote. I want him McVee to stay. He has shown the ability to lockdown small forwards as well as rebound and have skill and composure. I think we should offer him a 4 year deal. Also see him play more of a half back role to get into the game more. If the West Coast Weasals or Fockers offer him to cone back to WA and more $ $ and/or 5 years plus, then so be it.

NON-MFC: Finals Week 03
THE AFL AND THE MEDIA ALL LOVE GEELONG 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 COLLINGWOOD 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 HAWTHORN🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 BRISBANE 🤮🤮🤮🤮 I HATE THEM ALL… TOTALLY HATE I DONT WANT TO SEE ANY OF THEM WIN IT THEY ARE ALL SO SO ARROGANT !! (I guess that’s from continued success!) Probably only give the Lions a 4-spew rating as Chris Fagan is a genuinely good guy.

Welcome to Demonland: Shane McAdam
The proof that he was injury prone was apparent across multiple years. Unfortunately some players are the one who get injured. He never looked fit at the Crows to the truthful. I think the Dees list manager and Goody must have thought we could get a gem if he could stay injury free. My issue was that (1) we have him a 3 year deal (2 years with a trigger for a third was the sensible thing to do ) and (2) it cost us a future 2nd round which given 2024 would have been valuable. I think the Crows might have potentially delisted him after 2023 so they were happy to get such a good trade deal. We gambled. So far a bust but if we can get him fit, he showed signs of his talent. Though his inability to kick over 35 metres was an early issue in the games he did play in 2024.

Farewell Judd McVee
Dear Tom Morris Please let us know if Judd McVee is going to sign his contract offer. Of course you will find out before any MFC communication to the members !! Best wishes, SONS

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
@Turner Dovaston ⭐️and Robey⭐️. Young guns who are very impressive. Would be truly sad to see Trac leave but if we landed these two guys, it sets us up for the next 10 years with Langford, Lindsay, Kolt & Windsor.

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
@Turner My priority? Young players with ability to run and who can kick. Players who you can see have AFL quality. First rounders Josh Lindsay, Sam Cumming, Sam Grlj, Jacob Farrow, Sullivan Robey , Rory Wright 2nd rounders Blake Oudshoorn-Bennier, Jett Dahlitz, Felix Kneipp, Harrison Bridge, Noah Roberts-Thomson 3rd rounders Oskar Taylor, Hunter Wright, Finn Davis And of course Toby Sinnema If the Dees are planning to execute under the new Steven King run and create and move the ball quickly, then they have to be able to get better ball users through the middle and kicks that hit targets or at least to kick to advantage.
