Slightly off topic but can someone tell me what's happening with the two different shades of red we have at the moment. I've only seen Hogan play twice, once on the box and once at Vic Park. In the televised game, he could have easily kicked ten goals, had he managed to hang on to marks that on other days would have stuck. At Vic Park, the thing that stood out was his speed over the last ten metres to get to the drop of the ball. He hits those packs at serious pace. That, and his swagger.

One of the most damning things about this poll is why names such as Blease, Tapscott, Grimes, Trengove, Jetta and McKenzie don't figure in calculations at all, even considering their interrupted seasons. Also, whatever you think of Watts, he was clearly improved this year and is probably a bit stiff not to get a mention.
