The Other Preliminary Final
I begrudgingly admire how well the Pies have gone this season despite being slaughtered by injury. I think they run out of gas tonight though. Tigers by 76.

MFC - the original owner of the MCG
Until we flex our muscle to the AFL and demand we train on the MCG, I won't consider it our ground sadly.

54 years ago today
54 years... bloody hell. What an insane drought. We could break it just 10 days from now. Quite strange when you think of it that way. Two games, 10 days. So close to the ultimate glory.

Andrew Gaff
Maybe we were never into him? Lets see what Mahoney and co. have up their sleeves. Kelly, Sheil or Whitfield.... one of them will be a Demon.

Finals Tickets
Mentioned on the AFL podcast today that there will be 2,300 Demon supporters heading over from Melbourne. If you think that doesn't sound like many, its the most ever. Not even the Pies have ever had that many Vic fans travel West.

James Harmes take a bow.
Melbourne's flavour-of-the-month midfielder James Harmes has the AFL's finals tackles record in his sights. Harmes laid 11 tackles against Hawthorn and 10 against Geelong to make him one of four players with double-digit tackles in consecutive finals since Champion Data began recording them in 1999. The others were Lenny Hayes (2010), Ryan O'Keefe (2012) and Liam Shiels (2016), while former Footscray hard man Tony Liberatore also managed the feat in 1992. No player has done so in three straight post-season matches, and Harmes is also halfway to Hayes' 2010 finals record of 42 from four games. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-09-18/the-stats-files-the-makeshift-defence-kicking-goals#/

The SANFL Preliminary Final fiasco
It doesn't matter if they purposely put 19 men on the field or not. Even if it was an accident, they should be stripped of the win.

One eyed docker looking to borrow a Melbourne guernsey
Eagles are my equal most hated team along with Geelong. I dont know why. I just hate them. Maybe a lot to do with the drug culture they had there and the path of destruction it left on many lives and how guys like Worsfold and Nisbett haven't been held accountable and are still employed in the AFL. Then the Gaff hit on Brayshaw. The fact they are the biggest downhill skiiers in the league. I also hate Chris Judd who I still consider an Eagle. And dont even get me started on their supporters,,,, BOOOOOOOOOO. They are the worst in the country. Keep fighting the good fight over there... I don't mind the Dockers.

I hope the West Coast fans are louder than they've ever been. Our guys will love it. You can not intimidate this Melbourne team, you bozos!

Changes v Eagles - Preliminary Final
Interesting. Would have Joel Smith in ahead of him.

Changes v Eagles - Preliminary Final
Wow, that team was so inexperienced. The average games played would lucky to be over 50.

Roaming Brian - Melbourne vs Hawthorn, Semi Final
Yeah its a pretty tough gig in all fairness. I love seeing BT in our rooms cos it means we are winning Friday night games... and in finals no less.

I don't know how non-West Coast/Freo supporters handle living there.
