  1. Viney, Hibberd and Stretch all injured since the Darwin game. Once again this ridiculous fixture will sap the energy of the team. Expect more injuries over the coming weeks.
  2. Coming 4th in the Demonland Player of the Year, so hes highly rated by the fans but I get your point... he is a superstar in the making.
  3. Looking forward to when hes built his tank enough to move into his natural midfield position. Hes already shown he can be a dangerous crumber when resting inside 50. Very smart player.
  4. Aww poor Brent is still mad we eliminated him and his minnow club from the 2000 and 2002 finals series. Cheer up little fella and enjoy the career of Jesse '1 club player' Hogan.

Please tell me we are getting this guy.

You have repeated this same garbage hundreds of times and its still as ridiculous as it was the first time.

If he stays I am sure we have a nice backup plan. Or Maybe Gaff was the backup plan? Josh Mahoney is very good at this stuff.

"Here's three of the reasons Redden is looking good this year Shuey Gaff Yeo. " - Saty if the Demons were chasing Redden

How often does a player of his calibre remain unsigned this late into the season? Very good chance that hes already committed to us.
  11. Very true, and thankfully very easy to fix. Selection this week addresses that problem actually.
  12. Big fail from PJ unfortunately. If we really had to play two games in the NT to make money, then both should have been in Alice Springs. Darwin tropical conditions will end our season.. if not the actual game vs Freo, the game after against the Dogs.

Just signed a 2 year extension with Collingwood. Bad luck North. Or perhaps good luck as their reported offer was ridiculous.

What I am more interested in is that we will be likely signing someone good, if the article from a month go is true and we have cash to spend on an established player. If not Gaff, it will be another player. Nice to be a destination club.

Yeah lets pass on the All Australian and Best and Fairest winner whos played in a Grand Final and instead cross our fingers that Stretch or Balic become really, really good.
  16. How does that work? Is it like the Swans academy picks where they spend points to move up in the draft if someone bids on their player? #3 Toby Bedford (Dandenong Stingrays) Starting the game inside 50 as a small forward, Bedford showed some fancy footwork on occasions but struggled to get into the game in the first half. Although late in the third quarter he was moved up the ground to the stoppages and created a real spark. He won a couple of hard balls in traffic and released each to advantage, before his defensive efforts were rewarded with a holding the ball free kick. He broke from a centre bounce in the final term and almost set up a goal with a long kick inside 50. https://www.afldraftcentral.com.au/tag/toby-bedford/ Sounds like Charlie Spargo, similar height too.

Actually I became a fan of Caro during the Essendon drug saga. She tore shreds off the cheats while the Herald Sun did everything they could to protect them.

LOL She would be praising him if he went to Richmond.
  19. Couldn't have said it better. No wonder you call yourself hemingway.
  20. Awesome news. Has the football nous and ability to cover for Lever... in fact hes a perfect replacement for that role. No pressure though, hes a kid playing his first game. Good luck Harrison.
  21. Spot on. This needs to happen. One or the other, not both. Its almost a third of the way through the season and their old bodies are tiring. Lewis looked like he was running in cement.
  22. Then find a new location. Or perhaps we could replicate the dimensions to a smaller ratio of the MCG, like they did with Optus Stadium in Perth.
  23. Addng to that, if the oval cant be made to the exact dimensions of the MCG its not even worth doing the project or training there.
  24. Hopefully theres enough room to make the ground the EXACT size of the MCG. Not an inch more or less.
  25. Why cant we just train on the MCG? We are the original tenant. We started playing there in the 1800's for gods sake.
