Was a fantastic season from the club. Such a shame we couldn't get it done today and have a Dees vs Pies Grand Final. Would have been the biggest GF in decades. The West Coast meth heads are now my most hated team, overtaking Essendon and Geelong.

David Kings about the only bloke in the footy media worth listening to. I remember hating him as he was calling for Mark Neeld to be sacked in his first season. I defended Neeld and called King ridiculous. Sacking a coach in their first year? Imagine that? Best footy analyst by far.

The Eagles have played one game in 4 weeks. Same as Richmond. The bye before the finals has become a killer for top 4 teams that win in week 1. Too many weeks off is a BAD thing. Must take advantage today.. The Eagles will not be match hardened, much like the Tigers last night.

I feel perfectly calm, same as before we played them a month ago in Perth. That was when, while every other supporter was still freaking out about the loss to Sydney a week earlier, I promised @Ethan Tremblay his new BMX as it was like Christmas Eve the night before we seal our first finals berth in 12 years. Maybe this sense of calmness is a a sign - or maybe I am completely irrelevant and its just a coincidence. I think its the latter. Go Dees, smash the Meth Coke degenerates.

Not surprising. He had to play a totally different role once Lever went down. He is rail thin and has been filling the hole at half back taking intercept marks with big forwards smashing into him. Took a nice mark in front of Roughy last week. If Lever never went down, Fritsch would be have continued playing wing-half forward. Remember when he kicked 4 goals vs St Kilda? He was one of the few Demons to show up that day. Seriously unlucky this week, but the kid is a gun.
