Needs to do what Gawn did last preseason. He wont lose any strength, but he will be a lot more durable.

  3. Ablett was pitiful. Hes a seagull.
  4. Another great thing about this win was that we finally got a 'Roaming Brian' in the Melbourne rooms.
  5. The finals edition is officially underway. He was AMAZING. Start posting GIFS people!
  6. I am not sure last night could have gone any better... it had everything. We smashed the [censored] out of those pretenders. Selwood , Ablett and Dangerfield, just LOL. We bullied them.
  7. Couldn't link direct to the video but heres Roosy interviewing Max after the game, https://www.foxsports.com.au/video/afl
  8. His kicking was wayward early but he settled down in the 2nd half. Had no problem finding the footy.
  9. Awesome. Imagine what he will be like when his son Kobe is kicking goals for us in the finals on the G'.

Named BOG in the afl.com match review. This is a kid whos a key position forward, playing just his 18th AFL game and 1st final. Wowee.
  11. It all makes sense now - we lost to them twice by less than goal during the season on purpose so we could let them squeak into 8th spot and play them when the real stuff starts and break their hearts. Oh well, enjoy those two home and away wins Cats.... lol
  12. Alex Neal Bullens tackling and pressure in the first 10 minutes was as good as it gets. Then we tagged Viney in and Geelong had no respite. We bullied them into submission. They were scared.
  13. I have been saying this for years - Dangerfield is the most overrated player of the modern era.
  14. Melksham and Harmes getting stuck into Selwood and baiting him into giving a free away when Hawkins was lining up for goal. Then Ablett comes on and Melksham gets up in his face calling him a 'weak c%$#' I LOVE THIS TEAM. GOODNIGHT GEELONG. I HOPE IT BURNS LIKE HELL.

Far out he was BRILLIANT. Shades of Schwarzs 1994 finals explosion. Unbelievable stuff!
  16. Yes really. And we didnt fall into the finals.
  17. No point complaining when the Demons will no doubt land a very big free agent in the next year or two. Anyway, Jack Riewoldt turns 30 next month so it makes sense they would get Lynch. Can you blame him for choosing an established club when he had to spend the first half of his career at the Suns?

  19. The time is drawing nearer. The beast will be unleashed in his first ever final in front of 90K Friday night at the MCG. Having played just 7 games this season and struggling with for the 12 months with a frustrating foot problem, JV might just be more angry than usual ... if thats even possible. Adds another layer of intrigue to an already tantalizing game.
  20. Is Oscar underrated? At 22 years of age he held down full back in 14 win team, and had the increased pressure of his gun key defender partner Jake Lever going down for the season. They had just started to click and suddenly we bring in the very inexperienced Joel Smith to cover Levers role before the emergence of Frosty. Your thoughts on O Mac and how he is tracking and how good he will be in 2019 and beyond.
  21. They will try and bully us early as we have practically no finals experience, Lewis aside. It will not end well for them.
  22. Seems like he and Flip are busts. Bring in Preuss, have Weid and T Mac as relief rucks when needed and we should be set. Then theres Bradtke too, though he would only be a break open in case of extreme emergency and a few years off playing senior footy youd think.
  23. Agreed 100%. We cant go in to next season with Max King and Filipovic as our backup ruckmen.
  24. MELBOURNE has emerged as an unlikely suitor for lightly played Kangaroos ruckman Braydon Preuss. Preuss played eight games last year and threatened Todd Goldstein's status as North Melbourne's No.1 big man, but failed to play a senior match in 2018 despite dominating at VFL level. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-08-30/dees-emerging-as-surprise-suitor-for-big-roo
