Will never understand why the Wiz changed from #33 to #8 after the 2000 season, where he produced one of the greatest seasons you will ever see from a forward pocket. He lost all his powers when he ditched the 33.

No worries, we were favourites last week too. This is a new Melbourne.
  3. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-09-14/from-vfl-to-afls-no1-goal-assister-in-15-months#/ How did he not make the AA squad? Look at those numbers, hes brilliant.
  4. Dont need him with the emergence of Frost and Lever returning too.

That would be 4 changes for them going into a semi Final. Far from ideal for the Dawks.

    More like Jetta and Brayshaw.
  7. Really happy for Bernie that he hasnt played his last game and will be a part of it all before he retires. Still a chance to don the Red and Blue again at the best possible time... though we would need a few injuries.

We are primed. No changes and confidence is sky high. Hawks will need to do a lot of reshuffling with O Meara and Stratton out. We should belt them if we bring the same manic pressure as last week.
  9. Geez, O'Meara out. Thats huge.
  10. Got the feeling we are going to hand out an absolute hiding to the Hawks. Anyone else feel it?
  11. Never in doubt. Well done O Mac... gun full back in the making. Who will he play on tomorrow night?

We are crying out for his 9 possessions a game.

Hell no. Looking forward to Melbourne vs GWS in 2019 when Viney, Vanders, Harmes and co. can run through him and leave behind nothing but a mangled corpse.

Hope the Cats get him for 4 years at 500k. He will do nothing to improve their side.
  15. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-09-13/why-round-four-doesnt-matter-hawks-v-dees Changes from the flogging they gave us in Round 4 - In: Mitch Hannan, Tom McDonald, Charlie Spargo, Dom Tyson, Aaron vandenBerg, Jack Viney, Sam Weideman Out: Tom Bugg, Jeff Garlett, Jesse Hogan, Dean Kent, Jake Lever, Bernie Vince, Josh Wagner Despite the loss of Hogan and Lever, we are much better off than our last game vs Hawthorn.

Doing the #4 proud unlike the last bloke who wore it. Its like chalk and cheese.

That girl knows her footy. Thought I recognized her name too. Shes a Demon supporter and used to write for the official website I think.
  18. Identical to Geelong basically ...... up until last week.
  19. Thats great stuff. John Northey is the best Melbourne coach since the glory years of Norm Smith. What separates his teams from the Daniher/Balme era was the toughness and ruthlessness. Our current team reminds me of the Northey era sides, but with more raw talent.
  20. LOL what are the odds of that. Is she a Dees supporter?
  21. Paul Roos said On The Couch that Hogan could be one of the best centre half backs in the comp if he moved there.

Only if he learns some new tricks. Wouldn't be anywhere near my best 22 for Round 1 2019, even if fully fit.
  23. At least hes yelling that at Jetta for once and not at Saty.
  24. I have visions of a random Melbourne supporter whos been living in the jungles of Bolivia for the last 12 months logging on here and wondering why preseason training is starting so early this year.
  25. I'd love the team to run out on the G' to that. Woeful Carlton would have made the finals if that was their entrance song.
