The Jack Viney Made Me Cry Thread
The time is drawing nearer. The beast will be unleashed in his first ever final in front of 90K Friday night at the MCG. Having played just 7 games this season and struggling with for the 12 months with a frustrating foot problem, JV might just be more angry than usual ... if thats even possible. Adds another layer of intrigue to an already tantalizing game.

Time to show Oscar some respect!
Is Oscar underrated? At 22 years of age he held down full back in 14 win team, and had the increased pressure of his gun key defender partner Jake Lever going down for the season. They had just started to click and suddenly we bring in the very inexperienced Joel Smith to cover Levers role before the emergence of Frosty. Your thoughts on O Mac and how he is tracking and how good he will be in 2019 and beyond.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Seems like he and Flip are busts. Bring in Preuss, have Weid and T Mac as relief rucks when needed and we should be set. Then theres Bradtke too, though he would only be a break open in case of extreme emergency and a few years off playing senior footy youd think.

Agreed 100%. We cant go in to next season with Max King and Filipovic as our backup ruckmen.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
MELBOURNE has emerged as an unlikely suitor for lightly played Kangaroos ruckman Braydon Preuss. Preuss played eight games last year and threatened Todd Goldstein's status as North Melbourne's No.1 big man, but failed to play a senior match in 2018 despite dominating at VFL level. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-08-30/dees-emerging-as-surprise-suitor-for-big-roo

Bernie Vince Retires
Onya Bernie, You will always be linked with Roosy, PJ and the rest of the crew that selflessly came to this club when it was at rock bottom to help turn it around and make it something great again, and you succeeded. TO BERNIE!

None. He said just a few days ago that Gaff would definitely be a Demon.

You cant teach this sort of timing, decision making, skill and instinct. Every club will regret passing on this kid... should have been a top 10 pick imho.

Wines - fat, slow, poor foot skills . Couldn't care less we dont have him tbh Hope he enjoyed Mad Monday though- Andrew Gaff
64 goals, 88 behinds over his career. Its been a problem for him since day 1 and hasn't been improved in 5 years... he was terrible in front of goal last season, and just about as bad this season. No doubt hes a big talent, but he makes Tom Bugg look like Plugger Lockett when it comes to goal kicking. His kicking in general play is also pretty bloody bad. - The Ollie Whines Lounge
