Interesting ruck conundrum today. Bell (a recent Casey addition) against two AFL seasoned rucks including one in Stefan Martin who "was" highly rated. Rucks had basically no impact. No wonder players like LJ are sought after

Agree it wasn't a JVR type day today. His positioning to mark for his one goal was very good. Darcy for the Bulldogs was probably more impressive so it wasn't impossible for big men. Next year is his time Very early days for Woewodin but he is showing glimpses.His 2023 VFL season will be important.

When you're undefeated in a reserves competition where you are developing skills I think it's not too much to ask to see a Plan B every now and then. Nice mark and goal by JVR
