My take on this is that Brisbane don't rate this draft pool or MFC getting better - hopefully wrong on both counts
-
hope so
-
Don't think so

Cute but picks can still be swapped after the 7.30pm deadline today until Dec 7 I believe -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN

Welcome BBB and good luck in red and blue Love to see someone try getting a premiership medallion over that mop of hair ? -
If TMac can get fit again and find some form he is a very good player - lets hope that he do that for everyone's sake Lets not forget that in any given week its probably unlikely that all of May, Petty, Weideman, BBB, LJ, Lever etc will all be fit and in form We do need to have back ups that are solid and TMac hopefully can fill that role (or better)

Welcome to Demonland - Pick 25 (Dees/Swans Pick Swap)

I guess that means we will only be using picks 25 and 28 in the draft -
Sorry if a stupid question but does this mean there is likely to be less kids picked up each year than we have seen previously? if so would be good for the second tier comps but wonder whether it would slow there development as AFL ready players

Looks like he goes OK - hopefully one Jason Taylor has in the mix - in Jason we trust

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN

I think he has reasonable grounds to not rate us After looking the goods late in 2018 the MFC has fallen back into its comfort zone of MEDIOCRITY Why would anyone trust or rate the club after the inconsistent effort of results of the last two seasons Plus some players that were expected to improve haven't - others that were performing well then have regressed horribly He is calling us out on what he says - a very average team delivering very average results Time for the boys to prove that his 2018 assessment was right -
Needs one of these

Good pick up for Geelong - Higgins can play If they bring in Cameron they will be in good shape for another tilt Bloody annoying

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN

The comparison with Cameron is interesting however I'm confident that pretty much every single MFC supporter would pick Cameron over Brown in a head to head For the same reason Cameron' s value is far greater I still have doubts about Browns injury, his head space, his ability to apply pressure inside 50 when he doesn't have the ball, his significant reliance on umpires to gift him free kicks .................... 2 x second round picks is overs IMO -
Has most if not all the tools - self belief and genuine aggression are the two factors that I worry about with Weid Has shown ability in brief cameos but really should be starting to impose himself on games from next year onwards coming out of contract and looking for a decent payday might just be the spur he needs
-
GWS will have plenty of early picks if the Cameron deals goes through can’t use them all so that pick has less value to them than us sensible trade all round id say hope Brandon does ok and gets a fair go but just stinks it up against us ?
-
And yet they played finals and we didn’t - hmm something doesn’t quite add
-
Last time I checked you can never have too many good AFL quality players - trading them away is not the answer - teaching them how to work cohesively and as a collective weapon is - its the coaching that needs a big kick
-
someone got bored just sitting around with nothing happening in all seriousness - NFI why they would consider another St Kilda reject - don't see much appeal with Hind prefer to offer Hannan 3 years tbh
-
This is not a sound strategy If Max goes down we start to lose all structure and rob players from their best positions IMO - Jackson and Bradke not ready to take first ruck yet and Weed / TMac / Brown not good options
-
Statistically not much difference between him and big Brayden - puts us back into having a bona fide back up to Max as a big bodied ruck I too would prefer him over McKernan who is a plodder This guy is an honest toiler from the little sample I've seen
-
Mitch is now worth more in the market than Jesse Hogan - wow how things change I rate Mitch and like him as a player - seems to have all the skills and physical characteristics to be a very good footballer but sadly never seems to get the ball enough and contribute consistently. Hence can see why a long term deal is difficult for the club - obviously WB's see things differently Hopefully letting him go doesn't turn into another Jeremy Howe :(
-
Not sure he would walk into our team - he’s not replacing Langdon and not convinced he’s an upgrade on others that could play the other wing (Harmes, Salem, maybe even Baker who I’d say is quicker)
