  1. Yes we would it’s called understanding what all our options are to optimise the outcome whether he stays or goes A meeting with Grundy doesn’t confirm anything at this stage
  2. Gone to who and for what ?
  3. The doors aren't high enough for LJ to step through ?
  4. Not sure of posted elsewhere but interesting article on Fritta Melbourne Demons forward Bayley Fritsch is two games away from joining exclusive club of kicking a goal in every game of an AFL season
  5. Lets be fair - they are doing a hell of a lot right - its an issue they need to address but being embarrassed to get paid - C'mon
  6. Which to me suggests it is largely a mental problem - either way I hope he gets on top of this asap His mate Clarry is worse - it is the clear weakness in both their games
  7. Just hate to be critical of Trac but geez when you are having 58 shots at goal and your going at <30% it hurts the team - hopefully he can straighten up and quick
  8. Dogs are weak in defence and I personally can't see them really challenging until they sort that out They have plenty in reserve at the front end it seems so maybe a Naughton move if they can get a key defender in is not so impossible to contemplate He would be the perfect fit for us
  9. Yes it was Ed Your fans are just unbelievable - never had duck for dinner
  10. We seem to be getting hurt with quick transition. Usually our players elect to stand on the mark rather than pushing back outside 5 metres. The latter allows the player on the mark to move sideways to counter opposition players being the handball receive to break the lines. Should we be considering getting outside 5 more often to negate this ? I don't really rate the WB's but they tend to get outside 5 quickly so they don't get locked standing on the mark which pretty much renders that player useless because by the time the umpires call play on the ball has usually gone passed them
  11. Cripps should have simply tackled Ahh Chee - his decision was to bump. It was made a lot worse by jumping off the ground and making contact with the head - no attempt to actually win the ball Has to be suspended - but we all know how flawed this system is
  12. According to Leigh Mathews - “I suspect that’s incidental contact” LMAO 🤣
  13. I think most of us are a bit raw still for sharing that
  14. Think you belong in the why the Dees can’t win the flag thread
  15. Have a look at the second half of last years GF and then tell me we are not capable of offence
  16. I’d say he is looking at tweaks because every other team in the comp has done their homework on our strengths and a few have found a way to beat us (Collingwood being one) Normally a team will win that game with the dominance we had - we are incredibly wasteful given the number of F50 entries we have (it’s not just this game) and atm if teams are prepared to run and take risks to move the ball quickly our much lauded back six frankly look pretty [censored]
  17. Howes is nowhere near ready for AFL particularly a game like last night or a final - he was only just ok last week in the VFL against the worst team in that comp
  18. Very very disappointing and what I will say is that sometimes the better team doesn’t win the game and that’s what happened last night Credit to the filth as they played well but seriously the game should have been dusted by half time had we taken our chances Some of the umpiring calls were a bit perplexing to say the least and certainly didn’t help but they shouldn’t have been close enough to make a difference
  19. 8 goals from 18 inside 50s is BS
  20. Are we playing ? the pre game channel 7 show is totally about the filth - excuse me while I just have a quick chunder
  21. I got on at $2.31 Gamble responsibly
  22. OMG you cannot be serious
  23. Yeah they look really intimidating - NOT
  24. From bit-part player to flag hero: Demons' 'mini-Viney' Tom Sparrow forging his own path (afl.com.au) Some well deserved recognition for Tom - hard nut and love his endeavour
