TEAMS: Rd 22 vs Carlton
I was thinking Harmes to play the defensive forward role in place of Melksham not a midfield role

TEAMS: Rd 22 vs Carlton
His inconsistency is infuriating ? He has (per game vs Melksham) Consistently had more disposals Consistently more tackles Consistently more inside 50s Consistently more contested and uncontested possessions Consistently more effective disposals Consistently higher disposal efficiency Consistently higher 1%ers Consistently higher tackles inside F50 Seems a bit inconsistent that he isn't in the team when Jake is if you ask me - yes I get they may have played different positions but James Harmes can hit the scoreboard. He has proven to be our best negating player over and over again when asked to do a job. He is the same height and weight as Melksham and personally I'd like to see a direct swap I think Goodwin is a Melksham fan so what we think matters not

Welcome to Demonland Lachie Hunter
- Farewell Brodie Grundy
The Grundy / Gawn combination is not the answer to our F50 big man deficiency IMO If LJ does decide to leave and I still hope he doesn't I really hope we don't waste whatever picks we get to secure Grundy - we must use that to get a genuine KPF even one that may take a couple of years to develop - such as Aaron Cadman Next season we must find a better combination of marking talls inside F50- Welcome to Demonland Lachie Hunter
- Patrick Cripps FREE to play
The AFL are a complete and utter farce I really hope we [censored] these upstarts- Jesse Hogan
Iād be asking our playing group their thoughts before I did anything- JAKE BOWEY APPRECIATION THREAD.
Bye rounds in the VFL aren't helping any of these guys earn a call up - same applies to JVR too FWIW I thought Jake played very well in his last VFL game but that was 2 weeks ago Don't mind the idea of including him in the team because his disposal is usually good but not sure who he replaces (love what ANB brings but he has been a little out of sorts lately - a couple of other small forwards are also under scrutiny)- Jesse Hogan
I think you need to ask why things didn't work out at Freo - I have no idea and I am not going to speculate but clearly there is more to the JH story than meets the eye- Jesse Hogan
I thought we were happy to let Jessie go - for reasons I am not sure However, if we were keen to let him fly why would we now want him back ?- Farewell Luke Jackson
Yes we would itās called understanding what all our options are to optimise the outcome whether he stays or goes A meeting with Grundy doesnāt confirm anything at this stage- Farewell Luke Jackson
Gone to who and for what ?- Farewell Luke Jackson
The doors aren't high enough for LJ to step through ?- Forward Half Concerns
Not sure of posted elsewhere but interesting article on Fritta Melbourne Demons forward Bayley Fritsch is two games away from joining exclusive club of kicking a goal in every game of an AFL season- Who's helping to fix our goal kicking woes?
Lets be fair - they are doing a hell of a lot right - its an issue they need to address but being embarrassed to get paid - C'mon- Who's helping to fix our goal kicking woes?
Which to me suggests it is largely a mental problem - either way I hope he gets on top of this asap His mate Clarry is worse - it is the clear weakness in both their games- Who's helping to fix our goal kicking woes?
Just hate to be critical of Trac but geez when you are having 58 shots at goal and your going at <30% it hurts the team - hopefully he can straighten up and quick- Trade and Free Agency rumours

- PODCAST: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
We seem to be getting hurt with quick transition. Usually our players elect to stand on the mark rather than pushing back outside 5 metres. The latter allows the player on the mark to move sideways to counter opposition players being the handball receive to break the lines. Should we be considering getting outside 5 more often to negate this ? I don't really rate the WB's but they tend to get outside 5 quickly so they don't get locked standing on the mark which pretty much renders that player useless because by the time the umpires call play on the ball has usually gone passed them- Patrick Cripps FREE to play
Cripps should have simply tackled Ahh Chee - his decision was to bump. It was made a lot worse by jumping off the ground and making contact with the head - no attempt to actually win the ball Has to be suspended - but we all know how flawed this system is - Farewell Brodie Grundy
