Welcome to Demonland Lachie Hunter
Agree - I was really just responding to the idea that āwe are a destination club and for the right price players want to play with usā personally I think thatās just BS Most players will look after their own interests - they will seek success if they crave it , they will seek money if that drives them , they will run home if they are that way inclined The idea that we dangle a carrot in front of any player and they will rush to play for MFC as a destination club is pretty naĆÆve if you ask me

Welcome to Demonland Lachie Hunter
Well we paid up big time to get both Lever and May - not saying they havenāt been great for our team but May I believe was quite happy to play for the filth but we had the draft hand to get the deal done In Grundy - he is really being pushed out the door because they donāt like his contract - jury out whether he will perform at the highest level for the balance of his contract - hopefully he can get really fit over the summer and perform Dunstan canāt get a game - absent injuries I donāt see that changing Tomlinson canāt get a game - absent injuries I donāt see that changing Hibberd I rate highly but really doubt he has much left in the tank beyond 2023 Melksham performed better than I expected but when the heat was on went missing at the pointy end Ben Brown - his best was well and truly behind him when he arrived Langdon is a great wingman and was a fantastic acquisition

Farewell Jayden Hunt
The ability to run, carry and bounce is quite important in getting the ball past opposition teams defensive zones - these skills are something that JH has - not saying he is faultless but I like what he brings and would prefer he stays
-
Aaron Naughton
Maybe but if we finish up losing Jackson and replacing him with Naughton and Grundy Iād say thatās a pretty good outcome

Jordan De Goey
- Farewell Luke Jackson
How are they getting two top 10 picks ?- Premiership dreams are made of KPF
I never said a capable forward needs to be huge- Injured Players
Maybe itās because Max currently has zero ruck support - Maybe itās the reason we have interest in recruiting Grundy IMO we have been relying far too heavily on Max thinking that he is invincible and not adequately planning for a plan B - Itās going to be a much bigger problem Now that Fluke has moved on- Premiership dreams are made of KPF
I agree with this but I also think players tire when their relentless pressure and tackling doesnāt get rewarded and the opposition defence easily clear the ball To be successful we need both elements , relentless pressure and tackling coupled with an effective system of delivery to capable forwards - Iād suggest the last two need a bit of refinement- 2022 GRAND FINAL
Gary Rohan doing his best work again- 2022 GRAND FINAL
Pathetic would be overly generous- Trade and Free Agency rumours
- Jack Bowes Salary Dump
He looks v slow to me - no way he gets a game in our team if we are looking to improve from this season - would be paying a big chunk of cash to bloke who would likely play the entire season with Casey The fact they are prepared to part with pick 7 to see the back of him says it all NO from me- Harrison Petty - KPF in 2023
Just a slight overreach š- Harrison Petty - KPF in 2023
Actually Harmes kicked it to a leading Fritta not BBB but whatever- Trade and Free Agency rumours
- Harrison Petty - KPF in 2023
ahhh - which ones area available ? Please copy us on the list of those that are 1. available and keen to join the MFC 2. capable of having a meaningful impact say average of 2 to 3 goals per game I'm on record as saying Petty is our best KPD but unless we find a KPF who can compete in the air and on the ground I don't think we are going to improve next year As far as finding our new KPF in the draft currently we don't have a single first round pick and I suspect we wont get a top 10 pick from the Jackson deal - in any event if we did draft a KPF they generally take years to actually have a impact on a consistent basis- Farewell Luke Jackson
It would be tempting but at the end of the day that would be like pooping in your own nest I am disappointed he decided to leave - I think I'm going to be more disappointed with the tripe compensation that will be offered - hope I'm very wrong and we are fairly compensated but just can't see it happening- Trade and Free Agency rumours

Chugg sounds like he'd perform well on Mad Monday - pass on both for mine- Farewell Toby Bedford

Agree Toby is what I'd describe as a work in progress - shows some flashes of brilliance but he lacks consistency One thing he does have in spades is speed and excellent acceleration - these are qualities that we don't have in abundance so I would prefer Toby stays a Demon and strives to improve and force himself into the starting 22.- Harrison Petty - KPF in 2023
Thanks DD - I wasn't suggesting any of the "options" were for ruck duties only a KPD role - Farewell Luke Jackson
