Frosty has a pretty good kick on him for a big man and his speed is just ridiculous for a man of his size. I think Roos would love Melbourne to have their own Josh Kennedy/Jarryd Roughhead in the middle. We all would.

Nathan Jones recognised by competition at last

Look at all the other players AFL rankings. I think Jones is the only person outside the top 100. And he's ranked 31 by the better players in the AFL. -

All we need now is 22 players playing like most did tonight and we will games. That's the only main difference between a quality side and our boys tonight. -

They are all looking a little bit leaner than last year. -

Those pics are fantastic. Beautiful lens you have there 666. I just finished watching the slide show and now I am really pumped for the season. Is it too early to start wearing the number 12? I'll make sure it's on a 2014 jumper -

So many on here have absolutely no idea about sports injuries. It's hillarious.

It's true. Very true. Pretty much spot on from what I have experienced in my footy career. Though in Hogan's case, let's just say you have no idea what your talking about and it's absolute nonsense.

Saty, you of all people know that players may walk off the field with a simple limp. Then two days later after tests they are in for surgery. Just because they aren't rolling around at the time in agony, does not eliminate the fact it may be serious and long term. Plus we all know how tough Hulk is. You could crack him on the back of the head with a chair and I reckon he would be like "damn fly, get lost"

Probably aggravated the same knee that he had dramas with last year. Praying for nothing too serious.

Tried doing a little googling about Crossy to see if he was a front runner at the dogs as well. Found this Big Footy thread with a comment made from a Dogs supporter in 2005. To me it sounds like he is usually a front runner From 2005: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/whose-winning-3km-time-trials.210144/ "I'm guessing Daniel Cross will win the time trial for the Bulldogs."

Crossy you gun

Can't wait to read up on the results. Fair enough it won't be times but just knowing where they all finish up will be well appreciated. Thank you in advance to all the Demonlanders who are making it down there today.

Yeah go Pedo. Fire up big boy. Prove the haters wrong.

Totally stoked these are back again. Use to buy one every year.

Great report Tappy thanks. Interesting to see a lot of the Seniors not out there training. Must be part of their program to keep them rightly balanced with the level of training to avoid any unnecessary injuries. Mitch obviously resting up from his incident earlier. Did Max and Spencil both complete a full session? or Just Spencil?

Wish people would make their own money and not through the courts. That whole story stinks of bull droppings.
-
It was a drill they were doing that ended with a kick into the goal square and the players were each having a 1 on 1 with Miller to protect the drop zone of the ball. It is a skill some players need working on, especially Howe who we all know prefers to go over the top. Because anytime he is in a one on one contest with no run up, he gets out marked.

Don't know about anyone else here, but that video they have for the new jumper was awesome. The media team at the MFC are doing such a great job with all their videos now (even if this recent one was actually done by an external company)

Yeah they definitely stood out this time. Thanks again for posting those for us on here. Who cares about Big Footy, if they are smart enough they can come look at your posts and see you ain't taking any credit for them. Clearly stating who posted these and where. -

So do I. I laugh at the NRL code here all the time. Last thing I would ever want to see is the AFL be anything like the NRL. Yuk! -
