  1. I only wanted him to go to GWS to boost AFL interest even more in Sydney's West. Nothing is better than watching the great game grow in NSW.
  2. Already the shoulders are heavily strapped due to non existing deltoids. Yeah we cannot afford to take on another one of these skinny lads. I for one hope we just go for experience and matured bodies. We have no hard nuts in the list anymore.
  3. Purple's by 13 points. Fyfey for the Norm
  4. Melbourne finally have a Josh Kennedy (Swans) in the making. About bloody time. Go Roosy
  5. He copped 3 separate injuries throughout the year and still made himself available every time he could. Most of those 12 games the ball never came inside 50. So let's not go pointing fingers at forwards who only manage 12 goals from 12 games.
  6. So we are a basket case, an embarrassment to the AFL and following the exact foot steps of Fitzroy... Yet the AFL has decided our list is talented enough to not receive one. Is it just me, or ever since we appointed Roos (from all of PJ's hard work) the AFL think we are right as rain now?
  7. He has a meeting with Brisbane and the papers say Essendon are now looking to get him. You're probably right dee-luded, Richmond don't want him either, someone has to take him.
  8. Yes exactly right. Looks like he will stay at Richmond. No one wants him
  9. Yeah? Hmmmm I should look into doing this as well then.
  10. Yeah plus Richmond are trying to get a deal done now with GWS. Martin for Adams, straight swap.
  11. Which is highly unlikely.
  12. True and I'm certainly not too fussed if we get him or not. The reality is, he's looking for other offers and he's a real chance to end up at the Dee's. This would be why Roos has shown interest to his management and not Sloane's or Adams? Because Martin is a realistic get, the others are not. They are nothing but media rumours to get us all excited.
  13. Dusty is 22. He is right at the age where your tough boy image falls off and you start to grow up and be a man. With the right leadership, encouraging words in his ear and making new mates within the club, he could completely change his image he first began with. He was no different to all the other boys in the under 18 Campbelltown side. I played 3 years for them when I was under 18 and yeah half the side were trouble makers from Macquarie Fields, but if you have grown up in Western Sydney like, it's really not a big deal like the media make it out to be. They're young boys and Dusty was just one of many of them.
  14. Why do I have to live in Sydney? So would have loved to play in this.
  15. Yeah though when he was about 14 he moved to Macquarie Fields to live with his father and fathers new girlfriend. Played for the Campbelltown Blues (this is why I know) and yeah headed back to Castlemaine when he was about 17 to play in the TAC cup before next draft trials.
  16. I wouldn't give a rats behind if Roos got every single coach from Sydney. Who really cares where they come from. Picking a coaching panel isn't about being fair and selecting people from each and every club. It's about having the best possible coaching panel. Roos admitted himself, if he can have as many coaching staff members that he's work with in the past, not only will it make the coaching panel the best it can be, but it will even fast track Melbourne's progress as the coaches are all familiar with the way each other work.
  17. Watts Closer to New Deal - AFL Website
  18. Rumoured to go to the Swans for a trade with Sam Reid. Reid has been looking to go to Collingwood to play with brother Ben. But I doubt Sydney will want Shaw.
  19. If our players can't perform under Roos guidance. God help us all.
  20. Totally agree. Wouldn't even think about it for more than 2 seconds if the news was out that he's left us.
  21. Just another type writer geek who has never played the game. I reckon he would wet himself at the first sight of a brawl. As they say, only important personalities in the AFL have their own wiki page. Sorry Damo, no one cares about you or what you say.
  22. Col is a very different situation to Watts. Watts is young, still under guidance and the stature of a bloke like Paul Roos draws Jack back to the club like a moth to a flame. Col on the other hand has a completely different situation, he is only 1 contract away from retirement and he wants finals footy like them all. If Goddard is any example to go by (and not his fault at all), the grass certainly was not greener on the other side. For Rivers, well as you know he played in the loss the Freo on the weekend, but he got the finals footy that he wanted with another game next week. It would be great to keep Col as he is one of very few seniors left at the club. Though if a more consistent, experience and senior midfielder was willing to do the switch to Melbourne. I don't really see any purpose for him to stay. He is more than likely to plod along for one more contract, then to go out with a bang. That's just my opinion of course. Love for him to have the best last 3 years of his career. I am sure he would too.
  23. Thanks Neil Craig. We appreciate all you have done for the MFC. Your a genius of the sport.
