id agree with all this. We lack a fwd target(i dont consider Bate and Dunn this) yet he refuses to play Watts out of the square to try and create a target. Reality is we are at least 2 years and luck with a good new coach from being a good team. Its a long, painful journey.

I think it can be done if there is no direct link between the payments and the club. ie not sancitoned by the MFC or as a result of his employment with MFC, if you know what i mean. Judd's "employment" with Visy for example technically has nothing to do with the Blues.

I also agree, serious concerns. Disposal terrible, decision making worse, softness even worse than that. Never seen a player plateau or go backwards as much from his first 20 games. Maybe we cut him too much slack in his first season.

I'm with you on this. Stay or go I think he's tainted himself in my eyes, even though it's the medias hype that is causing the pain more than anything. Yes I want him gone at year end but im hardly being extreme. I actually think its a good euphemism for someone who promises much but doesn't deliver. Being extreme would be to say he is not a "coaches a hole". Im not taking this interview in isolation. Im basing it on the many times I've heard him "preach" and more so on the evidence I see out on the field.

As ive said before, Bailey is good at identifying the problems, but has no idea how to rectify them. For example he talks about how good Collingwood's spread is, but hasnt been able to teach our players such a simple part of the game. I refuse to believe we are the only team with a bunch of lazy footballers. I was fuming when he used the excuse about not having a gorilla forward as a reason for our pathetic forward setups and entry. Hes a good salesman, thats all. I can see why he won over the coaching selection panel with his confidence.
