Short but memorable career. Played with real passion.
-
Initially I thought he was more like Lucas Cook or Michael Newton but he has improved in the last month so lets see how he goes in 12 months time.
-
Just can't stomach those entitled Carlton vvankers. Plus he cheats at almost every ruck contests. Definitely NO.
-
The Alice Springs Turners are a great football family.
-
I think we may be at cross purposes. My comments relate to 2022 where the BT totally mismanaged the players who were out of form and/or injured and cost us any chance in the finals. I hope they have learned from 2022 & don't repeat the mistakes.
-
Maybe you missed Max Gawns comment that half a dozen players in last year's finals were "banged up" & carrying injuries.
-
Surely thats because we are now lowering the eyes & trying to kick to forwards in good positions. In rounds 10-15 we were either banging it in haphazardly or trying to kick long goals from 50m.

Hawks racism allegations (merged thread)

If the fraud charges against Egan are proved it would clearly undermine the report. It would mean the report was written by someone with questionable credibility. -
Willy deserved the win. They were hungrier, played smarter, played in front & were much better coached.
-
Fully agree with you - Harmes is a mile off the pace this year. And Hibberd the perfect match for Dusty esp after Rankine killed us last week.
-
It started with Langdon being rushed back & playing with a sleeping bag taped round his chest & finished with a broken team that struggled to compete. Ironically when we were forced to ruck with a fit Brown & Weid in one game we actually won. Bedford, Chandler, Baker & several others were badly under utilised instead of replacing injured & out of form players.
-
ATM he's had 2 good years & 4 poor years. 2022 was a disaster & we got no explanation from the Club. Gawn stated that 6 players went into the finals injured. This largely due to the BT playing guys who were out of form or carrying niggles despite any number of potential replacements killing it at Casey.

I'm having a cleanup & have dozens of Dees footy records, yearbooks & season guides available for free for anybody who is keen. From 70's to 2000's. Message me & I'll send them on.

Panhini ??? Is that with mozzarella & prosciutto ?
-
Not a fair comparison. Goody is blessed with the best mids, ruck & defence in the comp. The team failed badly in 2017, 2019 & 2020. In 2022 he coached poorly & we were out in straight sets. So far 2 good years out of 6.
-
He was ordinary yesterday but over the last month he has been good, better than Langdon.
-
I fully agree with u. If the AFL had any brains they would provide some $$ to these stand alone clubs & help to maintain a high standard for a local 2nd tier comp.
-
Absolutely nothing like James MacDonald. JM was the captain, B&F winner & AA.
-
I'd send Woewy back to Casey to work on a few things & bring in Dunstan for a couple of games to see what he has to offer.

Time to put the 'Kozzy Form Slump' bias to bed!

Probably Kossie's worst ever game so in hindsight maybe the dumbest post of the year. -
Actually Jackovich's goal kicking accuracy (not including out on the full) was 54% while Jurrah's was 63%.
-
Fair enough - lets not let facts get in the way of an argument - that's the Demonland way 😁😁
-
No he wasn't- look up their stats. Jurrah was better.
-
Liam Jurrah was probably the best set shot I've seen. He was better than Darren Bennett.
-
I can tell you that me & several long term supporters believe the same thing.
