Its not about exact like for like match ups its about the defence working as a unit. Sometimes for short periods McVee has to mark a bigger opponent, Hibbo has to tag resting rucks or May on a small quick player. You just dont drop players in good form & in any case Petty, apart from the odd flash, has been in average form this year.

A totally subjective and absurd statement. Tommo matches up fine. If he is dropped after an excellent game its the worst selection decision since Dunn was kept in the 2s by Oscar McD. It would be a repeat of our silly selection decisions of 2022.

That assessment is absolute nonsense. The defence as a unit worked very well. If we kick straight we win by 5 or 6 goals.

I'm complaining to the Club about this. On most Club sites there is an easy link to their VFL team with plenty of information. On the MFC site there is no obvious link. If you do a search on the MFC site & type in Casey then you do get a link & useful information about this week's team & this week's game. The other Victorian Clubs can do it so lift your game MFC.

Tell me about it. As a migrant I copped it in the neighbourhood as well as at school. The ones who copped it worse were English migrants aka poms. Back then when we copped abuse we gave it back in return.

As I've said I watched Jefferson in 4 games & you would expect a high draft pick like him to show something at VFL level, not to star or dominate but the odd sign of future potential but all I've seen is Michael Newton or Lucas Cook so far.

I've seen 4 of Jefferson's games & for a high draft pick he's shown very little. Reminds me of Lucas Cook or a young Michael Newton both in build and ability.

With Hunter out maybe they could try Turner on a wing. He has decent pace & uses the ball well.

Yes its all pretty p!$$ poor from MFC. Casey are pretty much ignored. There should be dedicated regular update on what's happening at Casey. Its embarrassing that people get more information about Casey from Demonland than from MFC.

Unfortunately whenever there is a hint of racism around things tend to amp up in a big way & sometimes fairness, evidence & rationality goes out the window.
