Around 80% of Demonlanders typically love every commentator who is positive towards the team & want to lynch anyone critical of the team.

Let's hope Jack Henderson can make the grade. I don't think we've had much luck in "top up" and mid season draft type players. I don't recall many successes.

Actually bing181 is a dill. All he did was point out that several of us had said that he was talented at the time of the trade. We were always apprehensive of what we paid for him and after seeing how he turned up for pre season last year & watching his schoolboy antics at Casey we figured it was a bust.

Top 3 for goals in a pi$$ poor team isn't much to hang your hat on. Even then he couldn't get through a full season without getting injured. A very poor return for what we gave the Crows.

Actually I pointed out his age, record of never playing a full season & being regularly injured or not fully fit & suggested that this season was unlikely to be any different. Sorry to hurt your feelings with facts.

My point is that Demonland is full of positive, idealistic well meaning supporters who have no grasp of reality.

A lot of posters here have been kidding themselves about McAdam. The fact that he tried hard & is a lovely bloke are beside the point. There is a reason he has never completed a full season at AFL level. Certainly talented but struggled with fitness & very injury prone. He was always a high risk pick & now it's looking like a bust.

So calling me a To$$er is ok under Demonland guidelines ??? Where are the moderators when you need them. You are totally in la la land about McAdam. I am simply stating the facts. At 29 years of age the best indicator of what Shane will do this year is what he did in the last 2 years - 7 games & 3 games. He is a bust.
