The Weed has struggled this year for Casey playing wet weather footy. The forecast is looking miserable all weekend & Pederson's bigger body would be better suited to get through a 4 QTR slog. I also would've brought in Ben Kennedy to replace Garlett & one of Michie or ANB for Harmes.

I agree with this.. I also think that Prestia is a very limited player.. Similar to the likes of Wines. He had an amazing first year, but has hit his peak. Players like Oliver, Petracca and Brayshaw have a much larger scope for improvement. And the uncertainty of an injury prone player is not worth the 600k price tag.

& Gold Coast after Richmonds first rounder (pick 6 at this stage) .. worth that? I can see this coming back to bite Richmond in the backside.

I'd also make the same change. However Roosy's mantra of persisting with certain blokes with poor disposal & low confidence is paying off.. aka Oscar Mcdonald. If Harmes is selected again, I'll back in his decision. There's no doubt though he's capable of some great footy! That bit of play against the 2 Hawks defenders, then kick to Kent in the goal square springs to mind.

He was getting caught a bit.. But I actually can't remember the last time he was caught holding the ball.. He has really fixed that part of his game up. Dom Tyson is a freak and will only get better.

I went to the game on Sunday and its a joke at how bad his hands really are.. There was a bit of play where Salem kicks it lace out to a leading Dawes.. No joke the ball bounces off his palms, up into the air and into the defenders arms for a rebound play. He'd be a great addition to the men's Olympic volleyball team. Can't see a place for him in our side moving forward.

Ok so weirdly enough, I dreamt Thursday night that we were up by 3 goals at 3QTR time & then went on to lose by a goal, failing to score in the last.. Then last night, I had the same dream, thinking it was real I told everyone that I dreamt about it the night before. Moral of the dreams are.. if we're up by 3 goals at 3QTR time, put your house on Hawks to get up.

I've been getting down to Casey most weeks to watch him play .. There's no doubt he has talent. Sure hands and great goal kicking technique. However.. My opinion is that I don't think he's ready for a call up against the Hawks of all teams.. His defensive side I've felt, still needs a lot of work. Including his field kicking efficiency. He had a really great game last week, but I would've liked to see him string at least 2 or 3 great games in a row before a call up. There's no doubt i'm really excited to see him debut though, and I'm sure he will have a real crack.

guys relax. 99% of you on here were expecting us to get smashed. Were the youngest side in the AFL & were in this up to our eyeballs. yes we should be at least 3/4 goals up. But it's great signs.

I have no doubt Dawesy will come out & try his hardest knowing his career depends on it.. but unfortunately his talent doesn't match his desire. I'd love for him to prove me wrong, but I can't see it.

Just heard on SEN that there has been a lot of talk lately about Michael Barlow coming home to Vic (Shepparton boy) .. To which an anonymous caller (also from shepparton) confirmed and then went on to say that he has it on good authority, Barlow would be in the Red and Blue next season. Apparently Barlow is out of contract, but is not a free agent. He'll be 29 in December. I think I'd consider him as a free agent.. But I wouldn't give up anything less than a 4th rounder for him. The questions is.. what's he worth? if anything? And would you want him in the red and blue?
