Never said it was fact. Just reporting a quote, like everyone else. And to be honest, I'd be a lot happier to use pick 20 on Z.Jones than trade it for Vince.. So I hope its true.

Its on par with everything else.. Nothing is a reliable source these days.. 95% of rumours so far this year have fallen through.

Disappointing.. because there were expectations of several big name brands wanting to jump on board as sponsors after Roosy's appointment. & How players apparently wanted to come to Melbourne now that we had Roos.. This doesn't seem to be the case.

The Roos factor .. which hasn't been a factor yet is the most disappointing thing for me so far.. The only thing thats going to turn all this around is on field success.. There is certainly no quick fix unfortunately.

I doubt we'll get pick 21 for Sylvia. & if im not mistaken I believe we have already 'committed' to taking Z.Jones with pick 20.. Hopefully we don't fail to keep those promises like we have in the past and miss out on a gun player .. aka Rory Sloane and Rockliff...

Most uneventful trade week ever... I reckon we'll miss the boat on a couple of players were after.

Parker spent a vast majority of the 2nd half of the year up forward did he not? & so did Tappy this year.. They are the similar height, same weight.. Parker isn't exactly quick. He might have a bigger engine.. But that can be improved over a good pre season.. I don't think its too farfetched to compare the two.

Yeah under roos I thought Tappy could emulate Luke Parker's game. He's of similar build and plays in similar position.

I dont mind if we don't get trades done.. It would be just nice to hear that players are interested in coming. And Roosy is supposed to have 'that effect' .. But so far, every single player we've shown interest in.. Including Dylan Shiel. Have snubbed us. Its just frustrating.

+1. At this rate it doesn't look like we will be getting anyone.. Carlton are now really interested in Cross.. Seriously.. What happened to the "Roos will make the Dees a much more attractive place to go". Everyone is just snubbing us. It's pissing me off.

I didn't think I would be too upset if he left.. But now that it's a reality Im very disappointed.. He was an integral part of this club turning things around on field. Will be sorely missed.
