  1. I like that he has kind of thrown his hat in the ring for the coaching job. He may or may not be serious about it but at least the players won't think they have a lame duck coach which we all saw under Todd was not a good thing.
  2. I think it will be part up to him and how he sees his future. He has been more hands on in previous roles so will he like the admin stuff but you would think he has the experience and capacity to do a good job.
  3. Good work 'stuie', I like it. A bit of a tweak here or there and you get the gig.
  4. What's with all the foot injuries????
  5. 4 premierships as a player for another.
  6. He had the title but Schwab had the job. At least that's been sorted out.
  7. I don't think it will be so formal, if Roos wants it he will get it...if not it will be Eade. You wouldn't expect either of these guys to go through the powerpoint presentation.
  8. I think it will be Roos or Eade, Williams has a bit to much baggage and we can't afford a loose cannon at this stage. Roos may or may not be interested, Eade is and he really wants it, he has unfinished business.
  9. I'm not so angry at Gary for his role in appointing Neeld but I am for his role in saving Schwab's job. This was a major blunder from someone who says he has no interest in the political side of football...if only that was true.
  10. No, Bailey dumped us right into the tanking saga.
  11. Unfortunately he only bled for himself.
  12. It should have been Eade last time...he wants the job and the club knows this.
  13. Let the players play football.
  14. I think it's Eade, a good guy and very astute coach.

    Furious

At least this time the person responsible, CS went first and the coach last.
  16. This goes with the comment about Moloney being the best player on the list. He backed down when a few of us texted that maybe Frawley has him well covered and if you put the list against the wall with Moloney and asked clubs to pick I would think there would be a few ahead of him. The only player we lost last year who was worth anything was Jared Rivers. Dermie doesn't really know, the list has bottomed out and is on a build. It will bounce back quicker than most think. Watch Eade turn it around next year.
  17. I would prefer Gary answer that question.
  18. Add Eade to that list...this one won't go through a committee I would suggest it will come from a short list of who is available. None of Roos, Clarkson, Eade or Williams will need to run the old powerpoint.
  19. Very funny and could happen, could also be a good chance to wind up at Richmond particularly in Williams comes to us. Ricky P should mind his own business as well.
  20. pea heart...a soul! What a sook.
  21. He wants to learn a bit about this thing called Karma. Neeld may not be coach of the MFC but he will stay in football as he has a lot to offer and has a lot of friends in senior positions along with a bunch of players at MFC and CFC who have respect and will be coaches down the track. It will bite Brent right where it hurts when he is looking for a job in football when his playing days are up which is not that far off. Never was a very smart footballer our Brent.
  22. Thanks, to many things to cover these days.
  23. could see nothing on his twitter a/c unless it's been taken down.
  24. No hindsight from me 'old dee', CS should never have been here I've always said that. Unfortunately for Neeld he bought the snake oil and that's the biggest mistake he made. ...but as you say it's time to move on and yes I believe it is our last chance too.
