  1. Frost is depth, he would only be a big loss if we were competing in the footy olympics. He's never going to tidy his disposal at AFL level because it's his decision making that's the problem and it's hard to fix. If he's a part of getting Lever over the line then it's a no brainer...
  2. Totally different players...same type of build that is all. Track has amazing awareness (peripheral vision), Col had none and that's what really held him back.
  3. ...but to me our i50 means our forward half. That obviously isn't what they are meaning? Looks like more lingo from some o/s games. Another question though, do they have stats on the % of time we hold the ball in our forward half?
  4. Can you define this stat 'jnr'? It doesn't read right to me...
  5. Maybe Littlefinger will be done in next episode and Arya will use his face to find out who he's been scheming with... Somethings brewing back in the North so that's my take.
  6. Agree 'jnr'...funny that the media are now talking about whether it's about Buckley being a success or Collingwood a success. When the argument really comes down to proving Eddie right and his ego won't let go. It's going to be interesting to see who if anyone stands up to him. I think Pert may have and failed.
  7. Collingwood are Bernie's bunny's... Does he still keep his spot?
  8. I would say that the 2 marks Pederson took coming in from the forward pocket and floating across were planned (classic set plays) and one ended up in a goal the other should have. Hogan's positioning and how we moved the ball to him through their zone is another instance and contributed to the bulk of his 6 goals. Don't undersell what we are doing and also don't underrate Brisbane. With Beams in, their midfield is as good as any going around at the moment.
  9. Sometimes 'steve', you are like a broken record...and maybe, just maybe you could be wrong at times. Apologies for being a Nuffie but I've had ENuffie...
  10. Whilst I agree that the state of umpiring of the game in general is a problem, I don't see it being any worse for us than a lot of other teams and the game in general. What's the fix? I think the first thing they could do is start to acknowledge mistakes, Kennedy is making a farce of it with his crazy interpretations. The next is stick to the rule book and not make up new rules in the guise of interpretation. The 2 things are really connected; when an umpire makes a mistake Kennedy introduces another interpretation to make it right.
  11. Yes you do, but the umpire in control on the inside of Mills & Betts was in the process of calling play on & raising the whistle to his mouth when Pannell jumped in...the TV angle wasn't great but the look on his face when usurped was priceless. I think one ump got it right but the one who won out with his call got it wrong.
  12. What made it worse was the umpire in control was raising his hands to call play on as Pannel stuffed the call up and gave a 50mtr...
  13. He's also made a few mistakes tonight... Would love him with Oscar and Tom down back though. One of the missing pieces.
  14. Can't wait for Arya v The Mountain...I think we got a taste with the sparring recently. Then maybe she will finish her list with Cersie
  15. @Macca, just noticed that Chuck Loeb passed away recently... A bit of a shock really, was looking for something else and a piece in memory came up...
  16. Absence makes the heart grow fonder...
  17. Funny, but I never considered Bugg a walk up start in the first place. He's not best 22 and has always been a depth player to my thinking. What's changed?
  18. He's older than I thought so to me he would be in competition with Garlett for the small forward role. Can play when tuned in but have the years and culture at GCS done him in... I think he would be an upgrade on BenKen 'Wise', but... I would probably pass.
  19. I think Oliver should make the 22 but won't... He is our Selwood/Dangerfield, we would struggle without him in the team.
  20. Max is using his opposite arm to block, as someone has stated it must be "rule of the week". He needs to adjust and the coaches should have sorted it out on the run. Whether the decision is right or wrong, this was what was happening and it was easy to see on the TV. No point Max arguing &/or not competing, he needs to adapt to the interpretation. I think this game will be a good learning experience for Max if he takes it onboard and he will be better for it from here on but only if he stops the umpire blame and gets on with it. I'm happy for the club to get clarification during the week but that's no help during a game. Adapt and get on with it boys.
  21. Tony Sheahan, great source lol. Looking to make a name for himself but in the enormous shadow cast by his old man.
  22. They've dropped off recently though 'Jnr' and that's why the results haven't been so good.
  23. Yes, he would be more than handy. Understatement... I can't see Frost being in the future plans apart from being a depth player or maybe trade value. O-Mac does have some upside though.
  24. Well the first half anyway...according to the Plapp report.
