I don't understand why posters care a hoot about what an overweight self important jorno thinks? He can think that the queen is gay for all I care......When we play good footy the media will be all over the team and Roos and all saying that they predicted it all....

I haven't been to an AGM for twenty years or so.....If I need to find out the financials, it will be reported in the media or the club web site the day after.......If I want to know how the players are going I get training reports here on Demonland or go to training myself....I don't need to attend to hear..."All the boys are training well and we hope to have a great season" I don't need to attend to hear some disgruntled supporters asking some inane questions to which the clubs replies will never be satisfactory to them I trust (maybe stupidly) in the Admin of the club and the football dept to be attempting to get this club out of the mire, and if I can help with membership or donation then I will happily. The AGM's that I have attended were boring and political but I understand that all clubs need to have them....

I got informed by email today....

I don't really get why people get upset about what an unnamed reporter thinks how sides will go in 2014.....It's the 17th JAN....All sides are back in training and there is 1 month before a ball is kicked in anger....It's about now, as match practice begins, that injuries start to come to all sides....Let them say what they like.....on our form in 2013 it would be hard to disagree but then said reporter does not look at training reports from supporter sites.....If he did, then there would be 18 sides in the eight.....Just my look on things.

I agree with this Bob but I have been a member for more years than I care to remember......I have no interest in politics, either in government or footy clubs, therefore I don't vote in the footy club elections as I don't know the applicants or their policies.....I have to trust that other members do and will elect the right ones I just love the footy and the games and the club, whatever the results......

In 2011 Sylvia was......5th in kicks for the club 4th in short kicks 5th in handballs 5th for handballs received 2nd in tackles 2nd for inside 50 2nd for hardball gets 4th for looseball gets Was also our second highest vote getter in the Brownlow with 10 votes and our third highest goal kicker with 25 goals I don't have the stats for the last two years but he was injured going into the 2012 season and I have tried to wipe from memory 2013.....It's funny that people really stick the boot in to players who have given many years of service to our footy club weather you like them or not... I really hope that Col finishes his footy career on a high except when he plays us.....

As I don't gamble, as a rule I have no interest in Pokies.....I have a few friends who do like to spend their $10 for an hour's entertainment.....I do like a drink and a smoke....all in moderation (Well most times) These things are always up to the individual..... all things can become an addiction There are so many things that you can bet on it isn't funny but it is up to you if you do or not. I don't see a problem if clubs have pokies to make some money.....I would prefer it to the big gambling companies.....Just saying....

Sadly it's the same expectation placed on most high draft picks.....All these kids need time to settle and find confidence in themselves and their placing in the team......I know we all want them to be absolute stars from the get go but they are just kids.....

The poms made the fatal mistake of bowling short in Perth.....Lets hope we don't do the same.....

As a non gambler....I couldn't give a stuff of what punters or bookies think or expect I imagine that Port's odds last year were very large.(if that's the word) Both are just guessing like the rest of us.
