And you can tell this based on 2 scratch matches can you????? Last night we had 28 players coming off and on and no restrictions on interchange......never playing in the red and blue again???? Just name me 1 player, good or not, that didn't make a mistake last night...

I don't know why people keep placing Georgiou in the side.......He is still a rookie and until someone is delisted or placed on the LTI list he is not permitted to play Riely is training with the main group and I don't think he will be on the LTI list much longer.... just my 2 bobs worth....

I can't see Georgiou being promoted just yet......I don't know why posters would have him in the round 1 team when he is still a rookie......Riley's 8 weeks finishes in round 2 (may be wrong on this)

I think you are seeing way to much into this.......I hope you have checked all our players friends and associates.......We might have to sack a few...

I think you miss my point......I am not for these types of people at all......I just think it is a free world last time I looked.......You cannot choose players friends for them....I don't have the audacity to tell you who to mix with I too have combated these types of people all my working life....but for you to degrade players and say they should be ashamed because they are footballers and you do not approve of their friends is just holistic and snobbery .......just my opinion ......

I think that some players make it impossible for coaches to ignore.....If he keeps putting his name forward with good games he will be rewarded maybe sooner rather than later....

Rivers was drafted in 2002 and played 150 games for the Melbourne Footy club....He was a mainstay in our back line for most of that time and filled in forward when needed.....I don't know why posters bag and degrade servants of this club when they leave......I guess it's a lot easier watching at the ground or in front of a TV......It must just make these posters feel a lot better about themselves......

Ok....I'll bite....... Where do we find these "resilient men" who never get injured What is the requirement for being "built for the job" All teams have injuries throughout the season many are just bad luck....I understand the frustration but come on..

Have these players been charged with any criminal offence ???? Where is the associations with murders???? have you checked that all your friends and associates are squeaky clean Some players come from backgrounds that are not all middle class and PC and have great upbringings. Maybe they play this game (and play it very well) to somehow make something of themselves But because they don't fit into supporters idea of the perfect world......You berate them and they should be ashamed of themselves and are a disgrace.....get over yourself.

Col played 157 games and kicked 129 goals for our football club.....I understand the frustration with Col but he deserves some recognition of the contribution he made to the footy club He is now gone.....How about we just thank him and wish him luck with Freo...

I just don't see the problem.....Footy needs people like Swan and Dusty....otherwise we just end up with robots During my time I have seen a lot of great footballers who did not comform to what footballers were supposed to be like.....And as for some people calling them dumb...they are earning millions of dollars doing something they love....I wish I was as dumb.....

Geees.....All this after a win in the NAB practise game.....God help the players when we lose one....... All the footy club "experts" on this site will go into melt down The football dept know what they want for all the players....us mug punter don't have a clue though some will disagree with me.....

Sorry.....Just to go back to the commentary..... How come now we have one calling the footy and THREE providing special comments.....I just want to know who has the ball and who it is passed to......I don't need to know the ins and out of what players SHOULD have done and what would have happened had they done it. Dermie the dill, criticised a Melbourne player for not getting the ball to a team mate 3 sec sooner......It resulted in a goal anyway And while I am at it.....What with the interviews DURING the play?????Surely there is time at quarter and half time for that crap......

It's the 14th of FEB......I for one am happy that these players are held back at bit....until the real season starts......The "Woe is us" brigade are out in full force.......These games leading into the REAL season are called practise games for a reason I understand that us long suffering supporters want to win, just win something, but I would rather have the tall forwards right to go for the REAL season where wins mean something.....

Lets be realistic.......It was the first scratch match for the season.....played in 35 to 38 degrees and after a training session at the start of Feb.....Lets see how we are going after the practise matches before we start bemoaning the presumption that we are no good..

No......You are either in or out....no matter the state of things......whether we win or lose....are good or bad......Sorry you just can't pick and choose when you become a member on how you think the side will go from year to year.....
