Wow....You just have to love Demonland...... We have been beaten by a side that has won 6 straight to be unbeaten in the first 6 rounds(A feat not done since we did it in the 50's) We have been beaten by a side that were runners up last year We now play the reining premiers. The wrist slashing here would be quite amusing if it wasn't so tragic. Not one poster here would have predicted that we would have won any of these games before the season started. I also can't believe the glee that posters have with the dropping of Jack Watts. Its like he is responsible for their expectations of him. FCS he was booed when he got his first possession which I find adhorant and ashamed to be a Melbourne supporter.

Oh please He was part of the reason for the Debt Demolition ie saving this club........Spent a huge amount of time organising fund raisers at the Dee's and casey. He played his football for Melbourne and Coached Freo into the finals for the first time in their history So please enlighten me that he has no AFL level traits, substance or relevance. Yes he may have made some mistakes(Who hasn't) but he put his heart and soul into the Melbourne Footy Club. It's so easy to sit behind a keyboard and knock people who have contributed to the club in ways you can only dream of. You only show your ignorance.

I get your point.....Just don't agree with the idea that when a player leaves us for whatever reason, posters are over the moon when they fail at another club....Just have a look at the Mitch Clarke thread......Posters are happy that a player is injured and bragging that they picked this....I find it rather pathetic. kum by ya it might be, but it is better than putting knives into blokes back because they don't reach the standards poster expect

Maybe, we as supporters really want our players to have the drive to play the best they can Col had the ability but was not driven to be the star that everyone wanted him to be Many players have great ability but don't want it as much as we think they should I think AFL footy was just a job for Col, nothing more nothing less. In a day when AFL footy is an obsession with players.....It wasn't for Col Good luck to him is his future endeavours I would be happy to play 150 odd games and get well paid for it and now move on to something else.

Ruckmen take years to develop.........Sandiland took years to get where he is now.........Give them time

Tyson made a critical error but nothing mentioned Every player makes mistakes in every game.......Most goals come from turnovers ie. player mistakes But every mistake or bit of play jack is involved in is jumped on by posters here and the media Other No 1 picks do not get the scrutiny Jack does....Scully has a bad game....No one says a thing(Media) Swallow......Good player but inconsistent in a fledging side Patton........Did his knee but showed not a great deal beforehand Whitfield....Some good form and probably will be good. We should be looking at what the side does as a whole.....Not pointing the finger a ONE player
