He played beautifully all day. He didn't once go into his shell, even when Broad tried to bounce him out continuously. It was a touch of bodyline. The shot he got out on was perfectly hit, probably too perfect and just happened to pick out Swann. It truly was an unbelievable innings. Certainly the best I have seen from a debutante for a very long time.

Bartlett ! I was worried it may have been Kevin. Has anyone heard the results of Trotters Audit on the current board. Or does the amount of resignations suggest the results are done?

Get off Harrys back. I am a sufferer of PTSD. For 40 years I suffered and didn't know what it was. It was only by accident that I sought help. The way out is what he is doing. Don't bury it in the back of your mind, get it out and discuss it, talk it through with family and friends. It can hurt, but not as much as the Demons that can grab you at inappropriate times.

John Mugavin ran for election last year. The sitting members were re-elected. Surely all the candidates would have presented a brief CV to the MCC of their expertise and background.

I know we have the Darwin Game coming up. But why do we have to return to the Web page as it was when we were up in Darwin Pre Xmas?

Realistically where I see the playing list

I'm not a real fan of Nicho, but I admire his attitude at training. His training is Elite, but his skills are down. He practices his kicking after every training session, and is improving. The problem is his disposal under pressure. He runs flat out but must steady just a bit before kicking. I think he is worth persevering with, if only to help the young kids with the attitude required to train. -

Totally agree. Does more around the ground in one game than what Jamar gives us in a year.

The great tackle by Fitzy, The incorrect disposal by Tippett x 2 The inept decision of the hand ball over the goal line. All cost us goals. It was an absolute disgrace. There were probably a few more, but I'm getting sick in the stomach thinking about it.

THE SMITH FACTOR by Whispering Jack
Barney Rubble replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Special Features
That would be handy to have him as trade bait. Who do you think he would be worth? Or would we go for Draft Picks in this years draft? -
This week is almost pin in the fixture time. Adelaide, Blues and GC could all turn the tables

Jack Watts and Mike Sheahan
Barney Rubble replied to The heart beats true's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'll record Foxtel on Sunday while I'm at the game. I always thought the side was divided by the likes and don't likes. The problem was that Neeld didn't have enough players who liked his style to buy in. Leaving half the side hamstrung by a game style that didn't allow them to attack. As Trenners said we were concentrating on defensive mindset and not attacking at all. Just chasing tail all the time. The game against the doggies showed we still haven't lost our ability to attack. Let's also hope we haven't lost that defensive mindset to use when needed. Slightly off track, but when all are fit. How do you line up these in attack? Hogan, Dawes, Howe, Watts, Clark, Fitzpatrick, Gawn, Blease, Sylvia. -
Jesse Hogan Highlights.

I thought I was happy seeing the highlights. But I couldn't have been more happy than Couch when Hogan Clunked that mark from Strauss. The smile was as big as Luna Park. -
Blease, Strauss and Morton had serious leg problems Blease and Strauss had serious leg breaks. Morton didn't have legs he had match sticks

2013 UNDER 18 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

I'd take Billings any day. Reads the play well and kicks beautifully. Outside midfielder that can play forward and deadly kick. -
Well that was obvious!

Better chance of trading in midfield stars
Barney Rubble replied to Hellish Inferno's topic in Melbourne Demons
When mentioning the Backs and Mids we already have. No one mentioned Trenners and Grimesy. Trenners has been getting back to somewhere near good form in the past few weeks. Grimesy was one of our best before his collarbone fracture. Who are our best 22 with the form shown last week. Do we persevere with pickles, and jetta -
I played footy in the 60's with a kid that shirked the issue often. He grew a bit and became the toughest SOB at full back for Port Melb. His name Bob Proffit

I'm distraught. I am also wondering what the headlines will be when they find out I'm not applying. "CHIPPY FRIED"

Trotter is the one doing the Audit on the board. I wonder who audits trotter.

I believe all the top clubs do something similar, but mainly as watching taped games, not live games. And as Sue mentioned give the boys a clip board to write on, knees are not for that purpose. I was wondering though, why the development coaches weren't needed elsewhere on game day?
